The Australia Esports Federation are hosting the 2018 Counter-Strike Grand Finals on Friday, the 28th of September, starting at 6pm. If you're not doing anything on this public holiday, then come down and check out some esports. This will be held at the Goldfields Theatre, Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Be one of the first 50 to take up this offer and get free/discount tickets. Our last minute special gives $25 off everything so:

Platinum Tickets - $90 down to $65

    Probably nothing 'wrong' per se, just that eSports (let alone buying tickets to go to a physical event) is not particularly popular in Australia.

    Why would anyone want to watch dozens of pale men sitting near motionless at computers with bulky gaming headsets on mumbling to each other, staring at their monitors, wrists moving imperceptibly from the distance of the grandstand. And the game is just people popping around corners and shooting. Over and over.

    Take public transport, AFL parade will be long over by this time, but traffic and parking in the city is a nightmare in Melbourne these days no matter what day it is. Parking is also really expensive anyway. If you are going to drive, the closest carparks are at South Wharf or Crown.
