I do find it concerning a third party website is offering fares not just a few dollars, but a few hundred dollars cheaper than the VA Direct site. VA do not sell its fares cheaper to third party sites, they have nothing to do with them. Any prices less than VAs site is very questionable.
Who is paying for this difference?
Maybe is low season?
Just checked and don’t see anything good. Unless you are going there for two nights, you are paying much more than $477. Also 18h journey vs 8h.
The $477 ticket says Adelaide to Nadi stop in Melbourne so that means I can take the flight in Melbourne and pay from Melbourne? How does it work??
if you don't show up for the first leg they will cancel the rest of the flights from memory.
Not a good deal, about 20 hours longer than direct flights which less than $600.
You can get a return ticket direct both ways for just over $600? Not really a deal at all

Comon dude it's not that hard. www.fijiairways.com March 18 to March 25 $646.75. I'm sure there's dates that are even cheaper if you search around.
Not to defend the OP but I still don't get your good finding $646 VS $477.
We are 3 people so we could save totally $507, not bad.@dealhunt: Yeah for 2 nights with a 14 hour stopover on the way there and 12hr on the way back. Real good deal.
