Good price on this game (Steam has it for US$5.85). Very positive reviews on Steam.

    Literally my favourite game from 2003. Tons of gameplay variety, great female protagonist and was ahead of it's time. Loved it. But that was a long time ago. OK for nostalgia I suppose.

    Looks great, but be aware no steam keys and windows only, though Wine probably could fix that on both Mac & Linux.

    Edit: it was reported to work well on Linux using a really old version of Wine (1.7 - Wine is now up to version 3.17), so i would expect it works very well now.

    Someone has documented a bunch of fixes for common problems if using earlier versions of wine, and some of these fixes might be relevant to Windows also ( https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iI… )

    If you play this game on a 16:9 widescreen monitor you will want to apply the Beyond Good and Evil Wide Screen Patch. This will patch the games to the correct 16:9 aspect ratio. Rather than have it play in the default 4:3 stretched to full 16:9.

    Works with all version of the game. Ubidsoft, GOG, Steam etc

    Also wish they had released Beyond Good and Evil HD remaster on the PC. Just not a console only release.
