A good alternative to this is to buy from JB Hi Fi for $69 and not pay shipping if you collect in store.

    • Yeah im just going into JB at lunch on the day :) don't want to risk it not arriving and not being able to play all launch weekend

    • its free shipping

      • That it does, usually with Amazon you gotta pay for shipping. But I suppose if you want to make sure you do not miss out on launch day, JB is the better choice.

Seems I was negged by someone that works at AusPost or has a lot of faith in the postal system haha!

@camshandez: DW I cancelled them out. Their salt will be defeated by my spice.

            • @KARMAAA: hey man if you click on the amazon link it says you can get free shipping with prime for release date :)

              • @ShotzAU: It costs money to get prime lol, unless you get the free trial. Point is, JB is probably better for most people, you also support an Aussie business in the process.

                • @KARMAAA: amazon has a australian warehouse if you are unaware now so they are a australian business the website i linked is only for australians :)

                  • @ShotzAU: I'm well aware. You are associated with Amazon so I will just save the argument for someone else. But it does not have the best rep down here for numerous reasons.

                    • @KARMAAA: im not actually associated with them at all i accidentally clicked it i cannot unclick it. yes that is correct amazon does not have the best rep here in australia but its improving. i prefer jbhifi in my honest opinion

    $60-90 for half a game
    hard pass

    • Yup. Note: No Singleplayer in this at all. Although if you want SP, Red Dead Redemption 2 is around the corner! /squeals

      • +1

and actually there is singleplayer in multiplayer this year.
each specialist character has its own mission and back story that takes place on a mp map :)

Honestly a very small minority of people buy Call of Duty for the campaign. Most of the game is the MP + Zombies. I have to say I am not a Call of Duty fan, but their BR mode, Blackout, is one of the best BR modes I've played in a long time. I however, will miss singleplayer since it offers at least 6 hours of enjoyment.

    • +1

You get multiplayer and Fortnite/PUBG mode - its like 2 games

      • -2

        game mode =/= a game

if i wanted battleroyale, id just play pubg

the maps for BOps4 are really small so its really just 40-60 person deathmatch, not battle royale

by your logic Battlefield 3/4 are like 8 games in one

        • +3

You don't know what you're talking about. Blackout is a new map. Largest in COD history. Had 80 players in the Beta which was increased in the last few days and will most likely have 100 players at release.

          • +2

@Not a Toomah: they are aiming for 115 players for zombie events

            • @ShotzAU: i accidentally clicked that im associated with amazon au how do i remove that it wont let me lol

          • -1

@Not a Toomah: "largest in cod history"
            thats a pretty low bar

            laughs in Battlefield

        and 3 zombie experiences

    • +1

It's not half a game. Single player was replaced with blackout which has more replayability than a 6-8 hour campaign.

      • single player and a multiplayer game mode are not mutually exclusive or direct substitutes

    • But hey, they got a free comic to compensate!!

  • Can we pre install this? I don't want to end up with a cardboard "DVD" like when I bought cod ww2…. Because My internet I'd slow AF.

    • Whoops just read you only get it on release date. Damn…

      • unless you wanna pay 90 dollars on blizzard then yeh you can pre install and its not a dvd its a code inside a box-

  • Is this a DVD or download game. Heard its going to be played on the steam.net platform cheers

    • battle.net you mean and all major release titles on pc are mainly download code inside a box i can confirm this is a code inside the case.

  • It looks like you can pre-download now.

I just loaded Battle.net and the beta install is doing a 60GB update. I've not officially bought the game or added a cd-key.

  • Hello, I purchased one this morning (8 hours ago) and still haven't received the key. It says it's due to be delivered on Wednesday which is 5 days away. For a digital download, I thought it would be just an email?

    • they are shipping it to you. "This is a PC code in a box not a physical disc"

      • thanks for clearing that up
