Samsung HW-M360/XY 2.1 Ch with Wireless Subwoofer $195 @ Harvey Norman.
Definitely not the best price in history, but seems to be the lowest price at this stage. Looks like a pretty decent deal! Having been keeping my eyes open for a sound system to add to my TV.
Deal ends tonight.

    Nope
    Other than 2.1 + 2 <> 5.1 this is a 2.1 channel soundbar
    The additional speakers will output the same as the "front" speakers.
    Not true surround sound so to speak

      Yep. 4.1, my bad - no centre channel.

      As to the surround sound issue, in my defence, Samsung has responded in this way to a reviewer complaining of low volume from these speakers:

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Wireless Rear Loud Speakers. I am sorry to hear that you did not experience the full potential of the surround sound system.
      Please know that by design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.

      Wouldn't be the first time Samsung have been incorrect.

        Prolly because the main unit only uses 15 Watts. The sub-woofer uses 28 Watts.
        No idea Watt the rears use :)
