Who tells me this thing is 20 year aged? There must be some sort of certificate.
The Scotch Whisky appellation is VERY tightly regulated by the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA). There are quite a few rules for anything to be called Scotch, a few more to be called Single Malt Scotch, and for age statements (e.g., 21) they can only claim the age of the youngest barrel of whisky that contributed.
So this really means the youngest barrel of that contributed to this batch of whisky 21 years old.
Glenfiddich 15 and 18 are some of my favourites, no idea what this one is like. I'd hazard a guess that it's better than JW Blue at the same price though!

oh please…there is no comparison here. A lot of single malts priced below $100 can beat JW Blue any day.
Personally, I prefer the taste of Glenfiddich 18 yr old to the 21 yrs.
