GPS spoofing

Hey,

Is there any way to lock fuel prices in 7 eleven app with GPS spoofing.?

Thanks in advance.

  • On android, yes. On iPhone, I don't believe it can be done without jailbreaking.

    • Interesting… I tried this few days ago and a pop up message came in the app saying I'm spoofing my location. If I do it again my account is going to be terminated.

      • i dont spoof and i get the same message occasionally.

      • Did you follow the instructions in the 7-11 fuel threads? I think you need a very slightly modified version of the app (a link for which has been posted).

TBH I have only recently got on board so have only done it twice, but no message like that so far and I <ahem> made a quick trip to Vic and then QLD right before filling up in the ACT.

        • Nah i haven't dig that far yet. Only started using the app month ago cause seeing the petrol prices makes me wanna take PT.

          • @ScuseMe: Modified App allows GPS spoofing to be allowed it's on the 2nd/3rd last page. Tried it yesterday.

            • @KBZ: Cheers mate!! I'll try it out

  • Yuck

      You don't like spoof?

        Not on my GPS.

OP ensure your phone/GPS has an adequate IP rating before you begin spoofing.

  • App may have some smarts designed to eliminate sudden major location changes. Also it may be cross-checking GPS vs Glonass vs AGPS/Wifi. Clearly spoofing is possible, however may not be simple.

    • This guy spoofs.

  • Doesn't it lock in the cheapest price from your metro area

just install an Android emulator on your PC/Mac (like Nox) and it lets you set the location, easy af!

    • How do you get that to the store to get the discount?

      • You login on your phone; after you lock on your PC.

  • Can whatever this GPS spoofing thingie is be also used to trick apps like Friend Finder so that I can be at the local bowling alley than the Strip Club?

    • No, you should only spoof at the strip club.
