I've just stumbled across next.com.au and found a bunch of stuff I like at pretty reasonable prices. Reviews online generally look good, with the majority of issues being around returns and refunds. Just wondering if anyone can talk to their experience buying from NEXT (worth it, not worth it) and the quality of their own brand for men's clothes (the "stag")?
That "neutral" style has been what I've been looking for. None of this hipster /faded / street clothes "fashion" that seems to be taking men's clothing retailers by storm in Australia
Do you have any recommendations for stores that stock similar kinds of clothes for comparable quality locally?

Hello, I shop from Next about 2-3 times a year will do a haul order. They have a returns address locally in Chullora NSW but yes you do have to pay shipping yourself.
Was great when Paypal had the free returns offer for a while but seems to have disappeared now.
Returns are easy, they send you a receipt already that has a column that you tick off which items to return and you include it in the return package (same mailbag it came in, just tape it back up).
You get refund issued within 2-3 days of arriving at local Aus warehouse (no waiting till it gets returned to UK).
Definitely worth it and very good quality. Free delivery for orders over $35.
I typically get my order in around 3 days couriered from the UK…….which is faster than local suppliers.

Yes, you have to pay for returns, but it is an Australian address. Refunds come through quickly.

I always preferred to buymy clothes from Next while I was in UK. I used to stock some extra stuff when they had sales.
Next is awesome, we buy most of our clothes there. The men's shorts with zip pockets are great.
I really like Next and shopped from them for a decade back in the UK. They're a staple on any high street, quality is pretty good and style is mostly neutral (less skinny/hipster/etc than most brands seem to be here). They frequently have good sales and well worth the price in my opinion.
