Discounted IMAGINE CHAMPION RIDER Horses Game (Nintendo Wii RRP $99) Cheap Sale $37 Free Shipping

16

I know dooverlackies [removed], but it's true that about the unique deals. I couldn't find one store anywhere that even had Imagine Champion Rider on the Wii (arguably the best horse game ever made). It is well under the retail price (RRP in Australia was $99) and shipping is free, insurance costs $2.90 and the game is only $37, brand new of course . Real bargain if you're into horses, or your kids are.

- change link to direct link
- here's the picture you uploaded, in case you are looking for it
- I've removed your claim that your site must be one of the oldest on the web. This has been discussed in the thread

  • had to change link again to counter the OP changing the text, title, etc of the deal?

  • "arguably the best horse game ever made"

And the competition is SO intense….

To be fair, the Wii does have quite a few girly style horse games. This is a Nintendo exclusive title as are many of the others.

My daugther is a fan of the genre…

This is a very hard game to find on the shelves…

    lol at nintendo

    • Nintendo seems to license anything eh

    (RRP in Australia was $99)

What's the point of stating that ??? When everybody's normal price is at least half that?

I find that very misleading and deceptive…

    PS.

If you google, in the UK it has been selling for as little as £4.98

You have no idea how expensive games are at rrp here in Australia do you jv? Why do you think so many people buy games from o/seas?

      • +2

retail price is only $49 at Sanity Australia… and they are usually expensive

        http://www.sanity.com.au/products/2117270/Imagine_Champion_R…

      • No Jv, you clearly don't know how much crappy old Wii games sell for even in Australia. Anyone that doesn't think that stating the original release RRP of a game isn't misleading must really enjoy being ripped off.

        • This is an OLD game, it's currently selling at Sanity for $49, can you find anyone selling it for $99 ???

        • Sorry, I meant Infernal Max, not you. :)

    • DUDE, YOU ALWAYS DO THIS WITHOUT CHECKING ANY FACTS…..GAME.CO.UK DON'T HAVE THIS GAME (AND CANNOT GET IT). If I'M WRONG ORDER IT FROM GAME.CO.UK AND IF YOU GET IT AT ALL I'LL PERSONALLY GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK!

      • Sorry about the CAPS, but what I said is right.

      • even if they are out of stock, they used to sell it for £4.98

        • which means you can't get it now. You can't get a Ford Model T now, but it used to sell for $290.

        • you can get it from Sanity now…

        • nope…out of stock

You can also pick up the PC version from DSE for… $4.94
    http://dicksmith.com.au/product/YG7089/pcdvd-imagine-champio…

    • yeah, claiming that RRP is $99 when nobody sells it at that price is just trying to con customers into thinking it is cheap…

      • agreed, his account should be banned

    • Wrong, sorry. You're looking at the PC version….not the Nintendo Wii version. Dick Smith doesn't even have the Wii version. And the RRP is a simple fact, look up the manufacturer and you'll see that it was exactly what I said, so stop whining about nothing.

  • Going to neg to draw attention to your claim that your site is one of the oldest on the web.

Your website might be considered one of the newest on the web, being registered in Oct 2010!

I'll also neg you for failing to use a direct link to your product and making me do that.
(Note: an alternative was that I just unpublish your deal for failing to follow some of the guidelines)

    • -1

First, sorry to say this, but you're not correct. Will you remove your negs if you're wrong? It's not my site, and what you're referring to is the most recent registration only which was a couple of months back I think…this site has been around for years, and it looks ugly to prove it. Secondly, I never said it was one of the oldest on the web, I said it's old. And heaps older than most Aussie game sites on gamecafe, as most of them are from the last 5 years. Thirdly, you should check an actual internet archiving utility, or if you haven't got one, use webarchive.org not whois! ….I'm not saying it was good or functional, just there! Here's proof it is more than 6 years old: http://web.archive.org/web/20040324152537/http://dooverlacki…

      • +1

wow, 6 whole years… you must be one of the oldest then…

Amazon has only been online for 16 years

      • +1

I know dooverlackies must be the oldest website out there

You did say it's one of the oldest websites … ?

        latest registration

Thanks, I did an ABN search and see registration goes back to 2004

        use webarchive.org

puzzled … did game selling for dooverlackie come after 2008?
        http://replay.waybackmachine.org/20081120123919/http://www.d…

    • Yeah, the link that you provided shows the "Date the domain name record was Last Modified" and not the registration date.

Having said that I'm not sure why 4WD-MAD posted an archive.org link to 'http://dooverlackies.com' when the deal goes to 'marketworks.com'

For anyone who REALLY wants this game I found it here: http://webshop.cashconverters.com.au/item/1365863/Wii_Imagin… - Buy it now price of $15!

      • OMG!!! At an RRP of $99, that's a savings of almost 85%!!!1!1!!1!!one!11!1!!gruglesnaggleSPLODE!

  • +1

Old game, dover lackies got it probably out of the junk yard when no one else wanted it. Your business is flawed, you cant sell people OLD OLD games and expect them to pay RRP. The games are all from some cheap game clearence factory somewhere. the price on these games are less than $10 for sure.

    • i wouldn't have posted -ve if the Rep just posted a deal with some "honest" and not "misleading" comments…

This is an old game selling for $37… The Rep is making out as if you are saving $62 which is clearly not the case…

    • ahh…no. shakes head

  • +1

Your in a corner rep. Give it up. Misleading is midleading no matter how you try to twist it.

And you need to learn how to speak to potential customers (or at least consider how you may come across to potential customer) which is, in this case, unprofessional.

    • Do you mean "you're"? I was stating the original RRP from the manufacturer.

      • which is AGAINST THE TRADE PRACTICES ACT when the RRP is not the normal selling price…

  • hmmmm…….. I'm not sure changing the title and product will make things better……

    • Obviously trying to con future readers of this thread so they aren't aware what product and pricing everyone was commenting on…

  • Closing the thread. Discussion and OP changing links are not making this productive.
