What's Your Favourite Frozen Meat Pie?

Anyone tried Herbert Adams?

Bought some recently and they were the best pies I've ever tasted, fresh or frozen.

Big rectangular chunks of tender meat, perfect gravy and pastry.

You can get them on special for $4-$5.

Even at full price they're still worth it, and some of the flavours are so tasty.

  • I am a big fan of the Herbert Adams, I am a fan of the Cjicken and Leek. They changed the packaging recently to the new black boxes and I believe this is probably a move to up the prices.

However Balfours just introduced some new ones, and I've been going for them recently. Well worth it, they had a special on introduction which was something like $1.99 a box, now they are almost the same as the Herbert Adams.

I am a bit of a pie connoisseur, I watch the pies like the OP does.

  • I'm a Four n Twenty man but the new Herbert Adams pies are really good for sure!

  • While it's not really a meat pie I like these ones.

    4 for $3.50 always.

Four and twenty cheese and beef are pretty decent also.

  • i agree Herbert are good but it's irrelevant given the price difference.

  • Get yourself a heap of Yatala Pies when you next pass on the way to Brisbane/Gold Coast and freeze them for later use.

    Pricey but nicey.
