Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro 32GB Black $254 + Delivery @ The Good Guys

100

NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, 32GB… only down side is the lower resolution display 720 x 1280.. in all honesty the screen still looks pretty good and for most people won't even be an issue. Not the cheapest it's ever been, but seems like a good deal currently.

Officeworks Price Beat via Thegoodguys or JBhifi brings it down to $241.30 Officeworks have now matched the price. :(

This has both Samsung Pay AND Google Pay btw. The Exynos 7870 is pretty decent for non gaming as the GPU is rather weak but otherwise Exynos is stronger than MediaTek and closer to Snapdragon, plus Samsung optimisation makes it very smooth. It's very strong specs for Aus stock and brand name. I do have one.

Fairly sure it has B28 as well, can't remember. Btw has anyone got Oreo update on these? US and India model have their rolled out last month but I cant see for Aus and support is clueless.

if u price match with HN and AMEX offer, should be about $200 :-)

    • Thanks. I forgot I had that HN offer 😊

  • HN just changed the price to $254 :).
Still good to buy from them with AMEX offer.

  • this or Nokia 5.1?

  • Picked up this phone at Officeworks last week. The size I was looking for, headphone jack, NFC, fingerprint, band 28, metal body. Feels great in the hand, very much like my work iPhone 7. I would have to say that for what I use it for, it compares very favorably to the 7. Immediately updated to 8.1. So far I am loving this phone and for the price I think it is hard to beat.
