    Good question! Bamboo has been known to have naturally anti-bacterial properties, vital to ensuring its longevity in nature and impressive regenerative abilities. As for the exact number of drinks, it does depend on the type of drink and how well the straws are maintained. That's why we included a straw cleaner in our sets with wide threads to ensure that with a clean in soapy water, you should be able to keep the straws for months with fairly regular use. Highly acidic drinks tend to affect them more especially if you leave the straw submerged for several hours or days…. but i'm not surprised given we've all heard of how a can of cola can be used to clean a toilet…
