I don't understand why companies go out of their way to charge 30-40% extra on postage. A satchel to Metro cities would cost $5.20, AusPost Prepaid is $8.30. You would increase overall profits, but decide to want to profit $2.50 - $4 on the postage.
Looks like there's glass in the products and liquids in the glasses, so extra protection would be required. I don't think $9.95 is outrageous.

Looks like they use Aust Post, so $1.65 for packaging and handling is reasonable imo.
They also offer $3.95 postage for small tins.
@Xiaomi: The cheapest I can find is $5.45 for local postage for ebay qualified sellers, $7.20 for national postage. Otherwise $7.54 for 3-5kg satchels.
I'd like to be able to post things for $5.20, perhaps you can be more specific on where you got that price?
