Thank you very, very, VERY much!

    • Pretty much EXACTLY what I said when I saw this, it’s a huge saving when you have little ones!

      • +2

and I rate them up there with huggies. Being bigger, they work better (overnight) then Coles, Aldi, Babylove and Thankyou (the worst) nappies.

        So Cheers!

        • We had the opposite - Little Ones didn't last the night, and Thankyou outlasted Huggies. But our girls take after their giant father so it probably depends what shape suits the kid.

      • Not when your kid only wants Huggies Ultimate 🤣

  • So at least on par with the Coles ones?

    • The Coles ones used to be the best value, but a few years ago they changed them and dropped the absorption amount which leads to more leaks.
The Woolies ones are now the best value imo.

    • +1

better. these ones (especially the 15-25kg) are slightly larger (fit better) & better absorbency.

      • +1

Couldn't agree more. Our daughter uses them for night times cause she's a deep sleeper and never had a wet bed - except once when we put them on too loosely by accident.

      • +1

Second this, I've had also the same positive results with Woolies Lil Ones. Gave up Aldi and Coles pampers ultimately.

  • Thanks stocked up for 12 months

    • EC, you have kid(s)?

  • I just tried the promo code after adding the nappies to my cart and the code was accepted but no $$ was deducted from the total…

    • Only works for the nappies, not the pull ups, wipes, etc.

      • -1

But the flyer says "convenience" nappies which are the pull ups…

    • Didn’t work for me either when tried it with the pull-ups…targeted?

    • same

  • Didn't work for toddler nappies for me, but worked for newborn and crawler

  • Brought a bunch thanks!
Got a heap of these Little One's Ultra Dry Nappies Walker 13-18kg Boys & Girls 44 pack

  • Awesome!
If you need to fill your cart. Kleenex cottonelle toilet paper 16 pack is half price as well.

    • +3

I'd rather wipe my arse with fine grit sandpaper than poke holes through Kleenex TP.

      • Not sure what you're talking about. Do you use just oen square at a time?

I can't do smooth TP anymore, needs to have texture.

        • +1

Nope. I've confirmed it with a few others that it has terrible structural integrity. Very prone to breaks. The whole ripple texture is complete trash. Not a good wiping experience.

I would rank Quilton, Kirkland, Sorbent and even Emporia higher than Kleenex.

Anyone know if these have the wetness indicator?

  • 10% extra this weekend for woolworths credit cards :D

  • We're expecting our first in April. Can anyone give me a guideline as to how many my newborn would go through in a day so I can stock up? When should they go up to the next size etc? Also, is there anything else in the range that I should pick up here?

Sorry for the questions, it's our first!

    • +1

It does vary with a newborn day by day, but you will probably average a change every 2 hours. This is just a rough guide, some days you'll change five nappies in ten minutes.

You can't over buy, so stock up on whatever you can fit

      • +3

Just dont bother overbuying newborn nappies, since they are up to 5kg and the next size is 4-8kg. You might find your baby is born around 2-4kg but generally double (i.e. 5-6kg) in 3 months and triple (i.e. 8-9kg) by 6 months. With our three kids we only ever got around 1 month or 2 out of newborn nappies.

        • Thanks for the advice, I'll take it on board :) It gives me something decent to work with

        • Agreed. My baby was 3.4kg and we struggled to use even 1 packet of newborn size. Unless you have a premmie, I'd stock on on the next size.

          • @iamnotafish: I hear ya! My bub was 4.5kg!! We didnt even get through ONE box of newborn nappies!!
I second stocking up on the next size though.

    • +1

Budget for at least 12 a day.
Go up a size when the bigger nappy fits and isn't too loose, or if the baby is filling the current size.
Just remember that your newborn may actually be too big (or too small) for the newborn size nappies on day 1.
      good luck with it all!

    • +1

      Expect around 10-12 per day.

When you should go up in size depends on the baby. Generally, you should be pretty safe for the first 2 months on the smaller size, then expect to go up.

Anything else? It's not on sale.. but wipes, wipes, wipes and more wipes.

    • +1

You can over buy new born nappies as they grow out of them so quickly. Also your friends and family will most likely buy heaps of newborn nappy packs leading to excess newborn nappies. I reckon you average 6 - 10 nappies a day for infants as a guide.

Also woolies is giving 3 reward points per dollar spent on these.

    • Thanks for the responses everyone (and well wishes). I'll take it all into consideration :)

    • Highly recommend testing a brand out first before stocking up. You may find your bub is allergic to a certain brand or that a certain brand always leaks.

Also my bub is 2 months but still in newborn sizing. So how much of a size you need depends if your bub is a fatty or petite :)

Minimum spend for click and collect? I've never seen that before. Seems (profanity)

    • There's always been minimums for groceries. More work involved when things need to be refrigerated and stored properly

Thanks OP. Stocked for the next couple of months for my newborn. Never used Woolworth's nappies. Hope they are good.
Planning to try a couple and if not good will return them.

  • Can the coupon only be used once or is it dead? Trying to place a second order…

  • +1

Coles nappies are going through a package rebrand and the old style are 50% off in store. Saw this yesterday.

  • Who has ordered the most so far? How many did Broden get? 2000?

    • I got 8. Including 2 of the next size up, in case of a growth spurt

  • Got 10. Thanks OP.

  • Any idea how these compare to Huggies Essential?

  • I too got the error below but just kept trying to put the coupon in and after 4 mins of trying it accepted it, then you have to pay quickly otherwise the error comes back. I got it on my 3rd attempt.

Sorry, the Coupon: "50OFFLO" has now exceeded its allocated limit. Please call our Customer Service Team on 1800 000 610 for clarification.

i've been trying for so long haha. The annoying thing was that i applied the discount earlier before lunch and it worked and then i thought i may aswell buy some more things… forgot to buy had lunch and came back to it not working. Lesson learned.

        • +1

I thought my discount code applied but it didn't. They ended charging full price for them, so I gave Woolworths a call wanting to cancel the order. They told me the code will be working again later this afternoon.

  • Not working for me either. First it worked then it asked me to change the pickup time and now its not working.

    • I called Woolworths about 15 mins ago, they said it should work again in an hour or two. Try again later today :)

      • That would be awesome!!
Such a good price for em…

I love how this got OzBargained.

Woolies rep: "What happened with this promotion was that it was sent to specific customers, but then posted to a third party website which pushed it past the limit of the number of redemptions for the promotional code. As such, it is unfortunately no longer redeemable, as the limit has been reached"

      It's been OzBargained alright!

      • Thanks for the update. Well done to the one's who got them and I hope you needed them most. I can afford to pay $10 for them.

      • Yes, I called today and they told me only the first 1000 customers, which was different from what they said yesterday :(

  • Ordered 30, got 13 lol. Rest were out of stock.

  • OP, where did you get the flyer from?

  • +3

    got my order yesterday.

They put them in reusable bags, then refunded me the $1 bag fee so got some free bags too which is a bonus

    • I got $1 refunded twice, when I'd opted for BYO bags. 😁

  • OP - you're a legend.
