Logitech Webcam Clearance from Officeworks

124

Found this as I was browsing the Logitech site. Seems like its a "Limited Time offer from Officeworks" in collaboration with Logitech to clear their stock or something. Not much of a saving if you compare it to the cheapest on StaticIce but not too bad IMO considering it's from Officeworks. Higher chance people are closer to Officeworks rather than MSYs etc. so here's for those who wanna save some petrol!

Clicking on the "Buy Now" links lead to the Officeworks site where all of the models on sale are labelled as on "Clearance" and are "Strictly while stocks last. Availability may vary from state to state. Please proceed to checkout to confirm availability in your area", so thats all I can say for availability! Don't need one myself so this is for those who are looking for a cheap webcam/missed out on the Logitech Giveaway!

Logitech Webcam C120 OW: $14.95 SI: $8.90 @ ARC

Logitech Webcam C300 OW: $29.95 SI: $30.00 @ MSY
Logitech Webcam C500 OW: $39.93 SI: $28.00 @ ARC

    Best on Staticice

    Logitech Webcam C120 OW: $14.95 SI: $8.90 @ ARC
    Logitech Webcam C200 OW: $19.50 SI: $27.72 @ gizmomart
    Logitech Webcam C300 OW: $29.95 SI: $30.00 @ MSY
    Logitech Webcam C500 OW: $39.93 SI: $28.00 @ ARC
    Logitech Webcam C600 OW: $48.45 SI: $40.00 @ MSY

So the C200 is a good deal but that's about it.

Thing is there isn't an ARC, gizmomart or MSY near everyone but Officeworks stores are quite widespread. Only reason I considered posting this up was because it seemed pretty convenient having a sale from a major retailer.

        Problem? I didn't neg, did I? Didn't once say it's a BAD deal.

I was showing people the cheaper alternatives. The point of this site is to share bargains, and part of that is pointing out better ones so others don't get ripped off.

        • +3

          No problem :) Just saying!
btw the C200 is actually $30.50 on the gizmomart site + shipping since its an online store :)

        • +1

Yeah, the C200 is actually a pretty decent deal. Got a couple of them at my house I believe, not a bad little webcam for the range it's in.

        • +3

          cough for free cough

    • ARC has a discount if you purchase over 300aud. Unless you actually click on the staticice link I would say this is why they come up on top of most searches in SI.

At the risk of (further) sacrilege, but really its just a genuine question because I don't know the history, and with no ulterior motive, what is this "love affair" between so many OzBargainers' and Logitech :) The cash back offer was a HUMONGOUS bargain, but a lot of the rest, well you know … a sale every few days … :)

    • +1

Agreed. If something is 25% off lowest on SI then I get it, but otherwise, it just seems like an every-other-day sale.

    • Hahaa, I agree with this actually. I like Logitech products in general and yeah, admittedly, this isn't much of a sale but a sale nonetheless.

      |almighty voice| that's it, i can't take any of this criticism, no more logitech deals deals from now on!!….

….(unless you guy's click 'like' on my facebook page!)

      • +1

no need for that, you are clearly much loved around here … and I'm not on facebook :)

  • +1

… not that I wish to puncture the bubble! :)

  • They going out of business or something?
Ever since the 100% cashback offer I keep seeing sales on logitech gear.

  • I don't know the company, have a few of their cheapest products, but I noticed they are a $2bn company with what looked like a strong enough balance sheet, if perhaps going slightly in the "wrong" direction. I wondered why their sales had actually reduced over the last two years … did they sell a unit? price and margin reductions? Not that its really the business of OzB to look at such things I guess.

    Two problems:
    - hardly a "clearance" price. I got one for half that at Good Guys., and C120 is $10 at Netplus.
    - specs are bullshit. The "1.3Mp" is interpolated.

You guys sure are hard to please. ;)

ozbargain turns ordinary consumers into savvy consumers, savvy consumers into cynical consumers, and cynical consumers into jaded consumers! once you're jaded, there's no going back….

    • -1

Am I jaded yet, morph? :(

    • … and when your jaded … think how much money you will save!!! :)

    • ha. It helps to be jaded when it comes to advertising. Otherwise you end up eating McDonalds, drinking coke, and thinking bank executives are really nice people.

      • I had dinner with a guy who has recently joined a bank as a senior executive, and he told me in no uncertain terms, that at his bank, they really are (nice).

        ;)

  • +1

how much you saved?? how about how much you spent! lol! think about all the stuff you bought only because you saw it here… ;)
@ashlea, i think you're at the savvy level, to become cynical you have to trounce 3 ozb trolls and flame at least 2 reps! haha!

  • +2

Its not the cheapest when compared to staticice prices and officeworks have a price beat policy. Where is the bargain??

    • +1

      Agreed.

      • +1

Agreed. Officeworks pricematching the cheapest would be a bargain but not this.
