I bought a pair of Melbourne Made Lester custom shoes well over 6 years ago. I wear them at least 3 days per week. They’re well built and sure they cost me more that store bought - but they’ve lasted all this time and should last many more.

Agree Florsheims are not as good as what they once were
you do get ones made in Portugal, but most of them mass produced in India and China
sadly they probably sell heaps more than Lesters
I only got my first two pairs about 18 months ago, but have certainly held up better than Windsor and others I had previously.
The florsheim boots I have get so hot after wearing them for a while. There's no ventilation so my feet get sweaty.
Just bought the these Florsheims last night for $47 delivered at Amazon. Had to add a $2 item for free global delivery. Discounted only in my size and price went up as soon as I bought them.
