Including all wall mounting brackets and other accessories at the same time? haha

      • +3

This is a blatant lie and it won't hold water on OzBargain…

It's ok to say you messed up by not excluding Sonos as most Ozbargainers know that the profit margin isn't big enough to sell Sonos at 20% off.

    • +1

Why bother? Because Sonos is the tip of a much better and bigger iceberg if you appreciate good quality music. Some great deals on the site!

      • +2

Sonos and quality shouldn't be in the same sentence… Convenience yeah. The other brands there leave them for dead.

        • Pretty broad statement there. I've been running my SONOS CONNECT & AMP mesh for over 10 years and can't pick a difference between it and many other far more expensive devices. The SONOS Speakers may be a different story but the CONNECT & AMP devices have been superb.

          • @SteveAndBelle: Just because something is more expensive it doesn't mean it's better.

The Sonos Subwoofer is terrible value.

And Audio is subjective, you may think yours is the best, congrats that's all that matters, but many others would disagree.

            • @scuderiarmani: I absolutely agree and in fact could pretty easily write a book on the subject. Glad you agree too :)

              • @SteveAndBelle: I haven't heard the model you are talking about… but their Play series are incredibly poor value in my eyes, and also sound very average…. the speakers I mentioned below, the LS50 Wireless would be similar price to a Sonos System and would blow them out of the water, the most impressive speaker I've heard in decades, and other reviews are all saying the same, a revolutionary product.

                • @scuderiarmani: Yep, you're probably correct but as you say audio is subjective so it's completely up to the individual. SONOS started with the CONNECT & AMP back in 2007/8 which is when I bit the bullet and began building my system. The CONNECT & AMP devices are designed to use with existing Speakers and/or Amplifiers and have provided me with rock solid high quality performance ever since. Your original 'Sonos and quality' statement was far too broad. Grab some nice speakers, even $100 Volls will do then connect them to a SONOS AMP or CONNECT & Amplifier and judge for yourself!

                  • @SteveAndBelle: Listen to Kef, Focal etc etc and judge too…

Companies that have been producing audio products for over 50 years…. the only Sonos products people here reference are the play series and none of which represent good value.

                    • @scuderiarmani: Yes, the KEF & Focal stuff is OK but waaaay overpriced IMO. As you say and I completely agree with, "just because something is more expensive it doesn't mean it's better". Had a pair of Martin Logan Electrostats a few years ago powered by a couple of freshly restored (by yours truly) Perreaux monoblocks (my favourite Power Amps) and fed via a SONOS CONNECT. Tried so hard to convince myself it sounded good and spent a few months rearranging the room to get the sweet spot just right but in the end I just sold them on and went back to one of my other many pairs of vintage speakers.

Funny you should mention 50 years… my pair of Beovox 5000 MK1s are now 53-54 years old and are one of the nicest sounding speakers in my collection… helped along by the pair of original 2500s I have on top! I do need to find another pair of 2500s though as mine are a little shabby. Got the Beolab 5000 Integrated to go with them too however not the matching Beomaster… but that is on my list :)

  • All SONOS sold out!!! Almost got me excited!

It's because Sonos is not Hi-Fi

    runs away

    • +3

This, they sell Kef Focal and others on a quick look and people care about Sonos? Lol

  • +7

Calling BS on the "sold out by late afternoon". I was about to pull the trigger on a Sonos Beam, and when I refreshed the page everything Sonos was marked as sold-out. Many other users cited the same on the previous post.

  • Any reason the black edition Kef LS50 Wireless are much cheaper than the coloured counterparts? I've got the blue already, phenomenal speakers.

Thanks for not answering me and missing out on a sale. Really good business, especially when I have been promoting your products here.

Likewise, as below code didn't work either.

  • So I'm looking to replace my Denon X3400H because the POS is not compatible with PS4 Pro. It think it's a fault on Denon's end.

    1) You guys have had this problem too?
    2) Have you tried any 4k Marantz/Yamaha with a PS4 pro?

    • Word of warning, if it's a software issue, Denon and Marantz are basically the same these days… My PS4 Pro seems fine on my Marantz NR1607 btw.

  • Code did not work on beyerdynamic DT1990 . It says cart does not meet requirements.

    • Can you please email us your details so we can fix this.
      Cheers, Riz
