Before anyone asks, no you can't charge your MacBook or USB-C laptop with this. You're better off using a USB-PD charger.

  • Wouldn't mind a deal on a USB-PD charger for my Pixel 2. Always see alot of QC3 deals.

      Set up a search alert for BW-S10 (30W single USB-C port) or BW-S11 (18W USB-C port + a 12W standard USB port)

I've got a BW-S10 that I use for my Nintendo Switch that seems to do a reasonable job.

dumb question: would this be reliable for a couple of the latest Raspberry Pi 3?

    • +2

Yes the 5V/2.4A port is fine for the Pi3's. Some people will say you have to have 5V/2.5A for the Pi but that's only if you've maxed the board out completely. 2A and sometimes even 1A will suffice.

    • I could be wrong, but one factor would be how many peripherals you have connected to its I/O ports.

Just yesterday I tried numerous old and current phone chargers on my Raspberry Pi 3 and all except one came up with Low Voltage Warning. The successful one was the BlitzWolf charger.

      • I've used a 2A Motorola charger and that worked fine .

        • the latest pi 3+ uses more power than the old pi3 so it’s very borderline on its own and if you add some peripherals and use phone charger it can drop out …..has same problem ,
phone chargers are ok with the pi3 not the latest pi3+ if loading add ons.

Try different (and shorter) cables. I've had the same low voltage issues with poor USB cables and swapping to a shorter one resolved it.

          Will do, thanks

    will this good for max?

  • When I add 2 to cart it shows as $19.58 USD, but when I got to PayPal it wants to charge me $21.54 USD

Same if I add 1 for $9.79, PayPal wants to charge $10.77 USD

    Is that GST?

  • Adding GST to my order :(

    • Same

    • So is actually $10.77 USD

    • Sorry, good pick up. Updated the title.

  • $15.50 for me,is this actually good?

    • +1

      It's a great product, yes.

  • I got one of these from the last deal, works great.

  • Got one to run my Amazon Echo Dot 2 in the kitchen and allow me to use the other port for fast charging phone

  • When I use this charger via a USB C hub on my Samsung tab Pro S it doesn't seem to have the juice to charge the tablet.

I'm not using the other port so the full QC 3 is available

    • +1

usb c and QC are different standards for charging so try charging the tablet without the hub.
QC is a qualcomm standard, usb c is an industry standard, hence manufacturers are going c so they don’t have to pay qualcomm for a license or buy chips from qualcomm….PCs have have usb c ports but no QC for that reason.

I don't really need this… ughh!!!! Take my money!

    Any deal for the BW-S7?

    • +1

Try messaging the banggood rep - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/privatemsg/msgto/64690

    • The biggest difference I can see between the BW-S6 and 7 is basically the non-QC being able to do 4.4A in the latter, correct? I'd be in for a 7 as well for the house if that's the case.

      • And the 2 ports vs 5 ports

  • Is the plug removable/exchangeable for international travel?

    • No. Use one of the 4+ port chargers with the removable cord.

  • What about iPhone X? Will fast charging work with this charger?

    • No. You need a USB-PD charger for that.

  • +1

    Just got two. Thank-you!

  • +3

Don't forget cash rewards for 8% cashback

    • Never :)

  • does this work for android also ? ex pixel 2 xl or pixel book?

  • I got mine today but I realized after ordering that I needed usb-pd so ordered that from other deal. If anyone wants it in sydney CBD I can give it to them for purchase price.
