Commenting helps people understand why you feel that way as there are many reasons why someone doesn't like a deal, and it helps people to understand that.

        There

  • Bought one in China (AUD3.) They are fun, but only 1W, so you need a few to create any decent amount of light. If you had more than one, you couldn't really use the strobe effect as they wouldn't be in sync.

All LEDs are around $3. The 3W+ white ones are great for a downlight replacement. They are use little electricity, run very cool (no house fires.) But when Mitre 10 sells them $50 and they cost around $20 on the net, Aussies are being well and truly shafted (as usual.)

  • just another advert for this company - cheaper at dx or ebay - move along people :D

  • BTW E27 is NOT standard here, it's B22 (Bayonet cap), so many will find it doesnt fit whats existing in their homes. Yes you can get an adapter or change your light socket, but at extra cost
