  • don't think this is worth a mention on ozbargain….sorry dude

  • Yes, popes should be cleaned more often. :)

    • I think that's choir boys…

  • Can you use this to wash car with the current water restrictions in Melbourne?

    • Car wash with high presure cleaner? That could damage the paint work.

      • Not true. A high pressure cleaner should be the way to clean your car as it is non abrasive. Using a traditional sponge and bucket of water will produce swirl marks over your paintjob, especially so with black vehicles. I have a black vehicle and I can testify to this (unless of course you don't care about your car's paintwork, then you can stop reading here).

High water pressure cleaners also utilise much less water than you think. If you live in Sydney, it's actually recommended by the city to use high pressure cleaning and nozzles to wash cars and boats alike due to much lower water consumption than a normal hose: http://www.sydneywater.com.au/water4life/WaterWise/

I bought an Aldi high pressure water cleaner - better specs than this and cheaper. Suggest you look into that. Also, bunnings regularly have sales on these items.

  • Karcher is $99 at bunnings everyday as well - should I post that too?!

Save your money on one of these and use a garden hose as that is about as much pressure as they give.

If you want a pressure washer then be prepared to spend a few hundred dollars on something good. I use my neighbours when I need one (I think he said it cost $400) and his is only rated at 1,300PSI however is much more powerful than any cheap pressure washer I have used with a higher PSI rating.

The power/psi rating only gives a small part of the picture. The biggest impact on the capability of cleaning and 'power to shift stuff' is the water flow rate (measured in litres/minute).

Example: Gerni has both a 145 and a 130 bar cleaner, yet the 130 is the better model as it can shift more water with a smaller motor (among some other advantages).

Your comment about using a garden hose is stupid. The Pope one will give enough for some people. Biggest advantage of any high pressure water cleaner is how much less water it uses over a garden hose/tap.
