      No, it's a thick strip that feels a bit metallic and/or magnetic. It's quite heavy.

                @FlyingPanda99: Just an update, it appears that PLUSME works on all items over $75 (not just Plus Items)

                Therefore, the reason why there's a +$20 Postage is due to the item not being an eBay Plus item.

            @avitherock: No I have a 1st gen.

            But I've heard a lot of comments saying the mop is useless due to it being so small, getting dirty quickly and then not being able to clean anything.

            Having said that, I would still pay the $100 extra as both gens are great vacuum's and the 2nd gen has some nice improvements, which is worth it.

    Can you add this to Mi Home ( Mainland China region)? I heard you can only use this with Singapore server.

        2nd Gen cannot be added to China Server. That's what I heard from a friend who owns it. All my xiaomi products are under china server and this is a major issue for me to decide.

      I use the 'Others' Region and it works fine. No Australian region, but Singapore is the recommended. I don't know why and I don't know the implications of using the different regions. The mop isn't good for really dirty floors, which mine are all the time, but I still like it for an extra clean. It is just a wet microfibre that is run over the area and a water reserve that keeps it wet. Anyway, I love it and the vacuuming function alone is worth it for me.

        If you have other Xiaomi cameras and devices, you will understand. Some Xiaomi devices only works under China Server.
