I wouldn't return it. It's $399 on Lego site and already labelled "hard to find". Some of the earlier ones now run in the thousands of dollars. Sit on it for a while and reap rewards when sells out everywhere. Worst case you get $399 for it down the line.
"Hard to find" doesn't mean that stock is running low across the country or that it's getting harder to find. It means exclusive to particular retailers - e.g. you may find this in Myer and the Lego store, but not Target or David Jones, whereas a non-Hard to find set you'll find at all four.
Edit: but yes there's a potential to profit if someone were to keep one sealed for some time until they stop producing/selling them and cross your fingers and hope it appreciates in value. Still a risk it won't happen.

I wouldn't return it, just because you can easily resell immediately for more than $240, or just sit on it and see what happens. I own all the modulars since Market Street and it seems TLG ramped up production since about Palace Cinema. So this'll definitely appreciate, but not as dramatically as early sets. Wouldn't count on 5x return on anything.
It’ll take years and years for you to resell it for $399. You don’t buy modular and hoping for a great return. Flip for $40, perhaps.

Unless there's a receipt to go with that, it's incorrect signage ('was $169.95') - another product or GBP pricing, and wasn't warranted.

How long do you guys need to wait to receive order confirmation? I made an order, paid via paypal gift card, it showes paid in my account but I never received myer order confirmation or ebay order confirmation.
Myer confirmation came through around an hour later.

Really enjoyed building this one. I limited myself to building one section at a time per day. Lasted about a week and a half. Very enjoyable.

yeah not sure about the priority in which they are allocating orders. My friend who ordered way after me got a shipping notification from myer today, where as for me who ordered much earlier, has not received anything yet.
My order just got cancelled. I got onto this bargain pretty much immediately after it was listed and after not hearing from them ( was waiting for shipping alert) I contacted them yesterday and just got told it’s out of stock even though its still available to buy atm.
I’ve emailed to them and requested to purchase instore for $240, they never replied me.
This is odd. I ordered about 12 hours after this was posted. They fulfulled it, sending it from Perth to Brisbane. Odd that they cancelled some orders and not others.

My order just got cancelled, despite ordering it at least 12 hours before it sold out..
What an useless bunch of idiots at Myer.
I ordered mine and got a shipping notification 2-3 days later with a tracking number.
After waiting for more than a week and the tracking info not updating, I contacted Myer.
They said they will investigate with Australia Post and get back to me and asked me if's lost in transit, whether I would prefer a replacement or a refund. I said I want a replacement.
Then after a few days, they come back and claim that the parcel is lost in transit and they can't supply a replacement as it's sold out. Meanwhile, they still have a listing on Ebay. WTF?
I'm no longer wasting time with Myer going forward. It's a complete waste of time each and every single time. They just steal your money for 2-3weeks and end up refunding and you just waste time placing the order.
Works out at 6 cents per piece…
