  • I got the same deal or very similar again.

The Kogan XL was upgraded from 16gb to 23gb and again to 32gb. I got on the Dick Smith (Kogan) eBay deal which was $203.44 for 12 months ($17 a month) for the XL plan. Hoping for a similar deal or at least another 40-50% off at Kogan when June rolls around.

    • Edit: $254 not $203

      • i think $254 is for Large not XL?

        • My mistake, it was actually $252. There was that 20% off sale where it brought $315 down to $252. Bought the 16gb (now 17gb) plan for my partner for $203.

  • me too
    Plan Expires on 20/12/2018

    • Does it say when this deal finish? I have about 30days to go til my deal finish

      • I believe it ends Jan 2019.

        • perfect, that is when my previous year deal ends :)

      • 28/02/19 - Says it in the fine print done the bottom :)

someone said lebara is better/cheaper, even after the above 40% off

    • Lebara also includes International Calls to Selected countries, so may be useful for some.

    • +1

Not if you need more than 16gb per month

  • i have posted lebara deal

I'm on Lebara, I stacked 3 of the 180 day vouchers for 540 days of prepaid.

They currently have a 2 day only Halloween sale where you can get 360 days for $209

The Large Plan 360 Day SIM Pack now comes with Unlimited Standard Calls to 18 Selected Countries, Unlimited Talk, Text & MMS in Australia, $10 call credit to other countries + 16GB data.

Selected countries; India, Germany,Ireland, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, United Kingdom and United States.

    • actually the 180 days is cheaper ($99 for 180 days compare with $209 for 360 days).
plus more data on 180 days (bonus 4gb)

how to stack? it is for new customer only

  • Anyone with Lebara? what are they like? any good?

    • +2

I've been with them for over a year now and have no problems.

They use the Vodafone network, same as Kogan. If you are happy with Kogan coverage then Lebara should be identical.

  • is it possible to stack with the kogan amex offer from this morning?

  • Belong. If you don't use all your data each month it is better value (infinite banking and easy to add cheap data by getting a new half price sim and gifting the data to your main number, plus referral bonuses)

    • How much do you spend in a year? How much data?

      • In the last year probably about $60-$80. I am on $10/month for 1GB but have over 300GB in the bank (I probably use around 2-6GB a month). I previously activated a bunch of free sims which gave me the extra data and have had a few people click my referral link (you get $20/credit each click, maximum of 5).

  • I've been hopping between Catch (3months 6GB + Unlimited) for $15 then a month with Kogan 23-32GB for anything from 99c to $4.90 for the month. You can't do better than this if your useage matches Catch's 6GB. I'm a SIM slut but doing it for the whole family I reckon saves us $1000 per year. The trick when porting out of Catch is to do it five days early as they try to hang on to you and hold up the port. I've reported to the ombudsman, but they have a loophole - the receiving (and not the losing) carrier gets hit with the ombudsman fees for a complanint handling, hence Kogan unfortunately, cop it on the chin even though it's clear that it's Catch and not Kogan to blame.

  • Kogan usually follows up with a very good deal.
They are excellent at retaining customers.
So wait for thier offer before moving on.
Usually the annual prepaid discount offers repeat same time of year

    • yeah i am so confused. decided to just wait. my kogan exp 20 dec.

  • Where can we buy the Kogan mobile $20/$30 mobile vouchers ? They used to be all over eBay but can’t seem to find them anymore.
