48x Cans Hawkers Rover Henty St Ale $98.99 Delivered (Save $33.94) @ BoozeBet (Excludes NT and TAS)

670
ROVER2

We landed oursevles a big deal on Hawkers Rover Henty St Ale. This deal only lasts until stock is gone! Hard to find elsewhere right now. This deal sold out in under 6 hours last time!

Just because it's craft doesn't mean you should pay through the roof. Good for knocking off one at the end of the day or a few on the weekend with friends. Even stock up for the Christmas period!

Bursting with juicy tropical fruit hop aromas, this beer is unfiltered, full flavoured and damn drinkable! The beer is fresh from the brewery and not close to best before date.

We are a starter in the market so we will strive to please with an increasing range of products.

Let us know if any questions or if we can do any more.

Cheers,
BoozeBet

Note: we do not ship to NT or Tas currently.

Note: If you're in Adelaide contact us still and we'll see what we can do!

  • Great beer for the price.

Hawkers are quality. Great price. Cheers OP.

    • +1

      Hawkers are quality.

      Is that you Jeff?

      • -1

that was good, upvoting u back to breaking even

  • Never tried it, lot o money to spend on beer you have never had

    • +1

Look back at previous deals though and you will see it is well received.

Of course everyone's tastes are different.

    • +2

Which beers do you like? This is a session ale really, but a nice amount of hops etc makes for a very satisfying beverage. Tastes like a pale ale, not a lager so if that's what you're into you won't find it here.

I guess the body is a little thin, but that also makes them very sessionable.

Really, I can't think of anything else for the price that comes close to these in quality.

      • -1

Pure Blonde, Carlton Draught, Great northern?

        • +4

They're all lagers, so good chance you might not like this. Most of my lager drinking friends find these have too much hops (ie; any hops is too much!)

          • @Poimandres: Thanks for the advice. I like Hop(y?) beers but I find after 2 or 3 im just all hopped out!

            • @mavis30551: No problem. I reckon give these a miss, because 2 cartons is not a small amount!

          • @Poimandres: any lagers you'd recommend trying over northerns, iron jack and carlton dry?

            • @HKS: There's a decent number of craft lagers around these days. One I haven't tried yet but will probably grab a slab next time I go to my folks place is Holgate Urban Crusader: https://www.firstchoiceliquor.com.au/Beer/urban-crusader-bot…

Holgate make decent beers, and $36 a carton is worth a try at least!

            • +1

              @HKS: Mornington Lager
              Sailors Grave Sou’East Draught

            • +1

@HKS: Pilsner Urquell is under $50 at Dan's atm. A textbook classic, top-tier lager — though it is on the bitter side compared to something like a CUB beer.

            • +3

              @HKS: Anything.

            • @HKS: Two Heads Hellvis Lager is a decent craft lager. Nothing compared to craft ales though.

            • @HKS: Seis Hermanos Lager

  • +1

No shipping to Tas, would be helpful to say in title.

    • +3

      Hello,

Updated, sorry about that. It's a liquor license thing for the state of my license.

      Cheers,
      BoozeBet

  • Bought 2 cartons last time.
Bought 4 this time. Great session Pale Ale, absolutely fantastic for camping. Hard to get a 4.3ABV Pale Ale that isn't overhopped to compensate for the lower alcohol.

  • Any ideas how long shipping will take to Ballarat, Vic? Need them by Friday 9 November.

    • You can get one right now from Campana's in Armstrong Street. A bit more expensive, but you'd be supporting local business.

      • +2

Not for this price though. They'll get plenty of 6 pack business from me during Amex shop small.

  • +1

Never heard of it, but for $2 you can't go wrong.

Edit: "Free shipping on all orders" is wrong, this beer is $91 before shipping.

    • Yep, definitely not free shipping. $91.04 then add $7.95 for shipping to make $98.99.

Edit: OP, your last deal had free shipping above $60. Can that be set up for this deal?

      • +1

As per the above comment. End price is $98.99 incl shipping.

        Cheers,
        BoozeBet

        • +1

Can you remove "Free shipping on all orders" from the deal please

  • +1

No relation to Boozebud? at least be creative with the name haha!

  • Give it a try. Worth supporting some new guys in the market.

  • Yeah, give it a spin

  • This beer is absolutely fantastic.

    Had it at a restaurant.

    Similar to Balters XPA

  • +1

Any chance of two cases of their Double IPA for around $150? ;)

    • -1

      Hello,

There is no Hawkers IIPA stock out there right now at all unfortunately.

      Cheers,
      BoozeBet

      • +1

My local has it for $25 / 4 pack at the moment. Delicious stuff.

  • No CR?

  • Ordered. Thanks OP!

  • Bought!!!!!

  • These are normally only available in a 6-pack at my local bottle-o and they always go down way quicker than intended. Bit concerned about what might happen with 8x that!

    Cheers OP.

  • Thanks purchased - happy to try it out

  • +1

Maybe leave the deal open until after these orders get delivered. I might grab a re-up if it tickles my fancy.

  • +1

Ordered this last time, very good beer for the price.

Think of it this way, it's the same price as VB and Tooheys. No brainer.

  • +1

Is it as good as West End Beer from SA?

    • +2

      I don't think that's possible.

  • +1

    4.3% 😢

    • Sweet jesus. I can't go below 4.7.

      • +1

5.5 for me although I was surprised by Garage Projects ‘White Mischief’

  • Need it for this weekend in Sydney… is it possible? What's delivery times like

    • Don't bank on it. I'm still waiting on mine ordered on 31 Oct…

      • Hello, we had a delay with a number of the orders. Please contact us direct and we'll give you a tracking number. Most already have there's already but some are still waiting. Cheers, BoozeBet.

        • Thanks. Got mine today. Cheers

  • Yeah, Righto, Ordered some as a fridge filler for Spring… I like a cheaper pale ale in the fridge and the normal go to's are Coopers Pale @~$55 a carton or Gage Roads Atomic Pale Ale @~$55.

  • -8

At 4.3% ABV it's a waste of money. If you like your beers, you'd never invest into 2 slabs of this beer.

    • +5

What are you talking about? If you actually like beer you realise the ABV is not something that determines the quality of the beverage. In fact, sometimes a lower ABV is better so you can drink more of it without getting tanked. This is a damn good beer.

      • -2

There's no point in drinking less flavorful beer for more hours. Any craft beer enthusiast would prefer 2-3 IPA/DIPA's rather than 4-5 rounds of a mid strength beer.

        • +1

Eh, we'll just have the disagree! I'm closing in on 2000 unique check ins on Untapped and have plenty of appreciation for lower alcohol full flavour beers (like these!)

          • @Poimandres: LOL, I've got ~3500. Shame on you. Keep on drinking for the sake of a check-in.

            • @d86: Lol didn't want to get into a wang measuring contest, just dropped the check in number to show that I'm pretty passionate about beer! Clearly you are as well, so I'm happy to concede we just have a different view on this. Strokes/folks and all that.

          • @Poimandres: I have to agree with you Poimandres. Although my untapped score is a measly 3 I do love a good beer regardless of the ABV. I find the harder hitting 6+% IPAs preferable, however I'm not going to rock up to a mates BBQ with a case of them in the middle of summer.

This beer is perfect to settle in for the afternoon/night in the nice of warm spring weather and socialize with mates.

        • -2

Glad I'm just someone who loves beer then. A 'craft beer enthusiast' sounds like a right tosser.

          • -1

@Fappo: Absolutely agree on the more mid strength side of beers. Sometimes you want to have a long session and something a bit more mid lets you drink at ease without winding up a slurring twat.

Saying there is no point in drinking a less flavourful beer is weird. Spending an entire day necking XXXX gold and then having some nice stronger evening beers to top it off is a lovely way to spend a day. You don't need to lock yourself into one brew for a session. You can mix it up a bit!

Real men drink West End Beer not this fancy stuff. West End Best End

  • +2

Hey Boozebet, I Appreciated the email reminder yesterday stating you were going to advertise this deal again on OzBargain today. Please do this again in the future next time you have a delicious beer on sale for super cheap.
(purchased last time this deal was on. Thoroughly enjoyed both slabs!)

  • Damn…missed it.

  • Ah damn, was gonna order this tonight!

  • +1

Anyone still waiting for their delivery?
    2 weeks have gone now

    • +1

It's only been a week and a half, but yeah my order is still only "confirmed" rather than shipped/delivered.

      • Hello, we had a delay with a number of the orders. Please contact us direct and we'll give you a tracking number. Cheers, BoozeBet.

  • +1

I think these are being delivered via Cobb and Co coach. Should be here soon.

I have a shipped email from 2 November. Eagerly awaiting the horses to drop them off.

    • Hello, please contact us direct and we'll give you a tracking number. Cheers, BoozeBet.

  • +1

    Yeah, impatiently waiting.
