Not a too bad deal, selling currently for $99 at Goodguys and JBHifi.. the RRP is grossly inflated for this brand.

These Amazon deals usually don't have large amounts of stock so get in quick.

But it's still on the pricey end for something that just needs to boil water, things to look out for in a kettle is reliability, quick to boil and looks.

**Note: Their matching 2 slice toaster is also on sale for $59, but if you wait a bit it will drop to $22-$30 within half a year. RRP is $149

Got one but still in box unopened

  • thanks OP. How is your Russell Hobbs Purity Glass Brita Kettle? I like the look that that one!

    • Very happy with it and filtered water tastes much better imo

Look is ok… but the lid is annoying and its very loud…. personally hate our one… but that said we have had it years and it gets a huge amount of use.

I have this and honestly my $7.50 plastic kettle from kmart works better (boils quicker, less hot to touch).Even when it was on sale for $17 it was probably too much.

    • i started using since last month. going ok so far. maybe will deteriorate in couple of months.

I also bought one on the previous deal, and the matching toaster, and regret both. I have had better luck with Breville.

  • Agree with the above. It's super loud now and takes ages to boil. Very disappointed as it didn't last long.

  • haven't used this brand before, but have been eyeing off the 4 slice version and kettle, but sooo expensive.
funnily enough the expensive toaster that I bought years ago (from free vouchers that I earnt) never toasted very well, I was really disappointed,
then prior to that there was the 10 Kmart cheapie which toasted better, much more even on the browning and also the dial was reasonable useful
our current toaster is also a name brand one and its not great, doesn't cook very evenly and have to have the dial on minimum or your toast is black if you do not monitor it.

  • $149 to boil water. Crikey.

  • I got one of these on Prime Day when it was like less than $20.
It's just a kettle. Don't let the "RRP" fool you. Go for something cheaper.
It's also quite bulky and the lid isn't great.

  • I have this kettle, it so loud when it boils.
