Refurb … there's one similar spec Lenovo left at Grays after discount just over $1,119

Might want to be quick to snag it.

Oh wow! Never seen the Y720 that low, even for a refurbished.

If searching for refurbs always pays to search Grays as well with these discounts. Lots of lenovo stuff (sometimes) well priced.

I have this laptop, purchased it a month ago from gumtree. Brilliant laptop, so far so good. Only complaint would be it runs a little warm, cpu and gpu run in the 80c's during intense gaming, apparently pretty normal for this model according to gaming forums.

    • what sort of games are you running and at what setting, if you dont mind answering?

I've only tried a few games so far - Cs go, quake champions and fortnite, still waiting for cod bo 4 from amazon. I've ran all games on max settings, they all seemed to run fine. Embarrassingly, fortnite has been played the most on this laptop, around 70 fps on epic.

        • Known issue with the GL502/702 series is poor cooling. Undervolting is strongly recommended, CPU as well as possibly GPU. Disabling Turbo Boost an alternative or complement is you don't mind losing some power.
