    although I dont think I have the money or space for them.

        @SteveAndBelle. What if I was to tell you your 1.3 odd million INCLUDED postage? (It doesn't). They'll fire up the factory production to get those to you. I myself, only have a mere 14,999 (I dropped one). Can't really get any more… small apartment.

        Yeah, I actually like them but feel the price is far too high sorry. Not your fault I know, I just personally wouldn't get the value from them. Maybe $15-20ea, not $40+. Ouch.

          I thought the same thing as you, I agreed 100% Then I got to thinking about the cost of countless tealight candles and the like. +1 for safety. I'd like them cheaper but the price point makes quite a bit of sense. Think of the crap lighting solution you'd get from Bunnings for $15 or $20.

      We have the goldish coloured base version. Not sure if there is a silver version but I can see what you mean from some of the pics.

      I think you may be thinking of the Bedside Lamp, which came with silver and gold bases and different functions.

          I just did an image search and can see that there are some where the bases look silver, but I think that may just be those couple of photos.

          On this site a couple of the photos looks like it is chrome! the rest show it is gold though

          I am not a Xioami expert, just a fan but the bedside lamps do come in silver and gold. I have the gold one :)

            @xev: This Yeelight Candela only comes in gold (ish) base, no silver base.

            Silver Bedside Lamp are the early/first generation (made by Xiaomi Yeelight, hence Y symbol etched on the silver part) and sync via bluetooth (no WiFi).

            Gold bedside lamp are newest generation (have bluetooth and Wifi), made by Xiaomi Mijia.

            Both compatible with Yeelight and Xiaomi apps.

              @ben1680: Thanks for clarifying, I didn't think it came with a gold base.

              The gold Bedside lamps also work as a Wifi/BT bridge for the Xiamoi LCD Screen Thermometer.

    Pretty cool, but I feel it's a bit big, would definitely buy one if it were roughly the same size as an average candle and slightly cheaper.

      The Xiaomi Bedside lamp and bulbs have a candle flicker function, they won't look as good as this doing it but you will get the same effect.

        Edit: Sorry, @bangmango comment below is correct.

        There is flicker function although it is gimmicky and highly unrealistic.
        If you have more than 1 Candela, setting flicker mode will set every single unit flicking action to sync (dim/on/off) at the same time as well. It makes the effect even more unrealistic…

    It's a well made nice looking decorative light and is a smaller than it looks in photos, probably less than half the overall size of the Xiaomi bedside lamp. The flicker function kind of just pulsates doesnt remind me of a candle at all. Has yeelight app integration.
