    awesome glasses from goggles4u.com. each pair i purchased came in a hard case, with extra nose cushions and lens cleaning cloth. all for 4.99 + 4.99 shipping. they also look just as they did on the sit. sweetest deal i have found thus far.

    the lego sets from cotd were pretty good, re sold on ebay and made almost 33% profit

    but the best bargain for use, is the $1 iphone cables

    "Think and Get Rich" - a miraculous book in its time (first published in the '30's … I came across a taped summary in the '80s) … I'd love a modern equivalent … any recommendations?

      issh .. I picked up the Earl Nightingale recording of a summary of the book, made in the '60's around 1981 (yes, before most Ozbargainers were born) and I found it truly inspirational … and it has been of value to me over the years (I've bought many copies being careless and moving around a bit, I have about 3 copies here plus tapes etc). The tape only lasts about 45 minutes and is a good intro to the book … and appropriately misses out the most dated thoughts.

      I'd like an "update" because a) I know the book and b) the world has changed a bit since the '30s when it was written.

      Anthony Robbins, in the late '80s, and "The Secret" most recently, and so many others have drawn on the principles in the book, and now I'd like an equally effective "top-up".

      No I did not go to the conference.

      The book is out of copyright so free … and I've got tapes, plus its on my iPod/iphone.

      … what did I learn: "everything begins with an idea" … then plan … execute your plan … persevere … and along the way have one or more like minds that you regularly confer with

      while the ideas were groundbreaking in the '30s they have been regurgitated so many times since they may sound ordinary, but the principals still apply.

      and it worked for me when i did that.

      But I need a generation-gap bridging update for these social networking times!!!! :)

    issh … if you haven't heard the zippy 45 minute Earl Nightingale version its well worth a go!

    Its widely available … amazon … audible etc … just go for the cheapest

    They tack on "Instant Motivator" to the end of the title.

    For me, it was easily the sony 7.1 speakers. Phenomenal value at $250 (RRP at Sony is $1499) and they sound terrific. Even at $400+ it would still be great value
