Mouse Suggestions: Logitech MX Anywhere 2S or G603/G703

As title suggest, looking for a mouse for my office stuff. Mostly 8 hours a day on excel, browser, and occasional gaming like counter strike. (Wireless, multi devices is must)

Might use on tablet on bed looking for something works on different surfaces.

Tried mx master but its too big. Is gaming mouse are good enough for long usage compared to mx anywhere 2s.

Problem is most stores don't have display model to try at stores.
When enquired at JB hifi they don't have display model and wont accept return unless product is defective so no chance of trying at home whether it is comfortable or not..

Any suggestions between those three mouse and stores where they accept returns.

ta.

I would add that master 2s is v good for vertical scrolling large excel spreadsheets

Also might be good idea to consider Vertical mouse for your extended use

I'm in the exact same boat as you. Towing between vertical mouse (less customisable buttons) and master mx 2 (less comfortable but more features.

Anker vertical mouse can be had $10-$15 delivered new.

Not sure what I want either!?!?

  • The MX Anywhere doesn't belong on the list. It's significantly compromised for portability so it's unsuitable for gaming.

There's no reason that gaming mice are not suitable for every other activity assuming you pick high quality ones like the other mouse models you're looking at.

Unfortunately I don't think they do multi-device so you will have to use a dongle on a USB switch or another solution.

  • Logitech!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The MX Anywhere 2S is not the same type of mouse. It's a productivity-oriented mouse, not gaming. It's basically a portable version of the MX Master 2S. I have the MX Master 2S. It's a good mouse for daily use, but I wouldn't recommend it for gaming.

I'm a casual gamer, so I don't really care all that much, but it's much heavier than gaming mice which is good for accuracy, but really bad for fast reactions.

    • Thanks. Good to know Anywhere 2s is not good for causal gaming. I assumed it would be like a normal mouse.

I tried MX master from a friend but its not for me. Too big and not comfortable with holding my hand but my friend enjoying it at work. Its great mouse but not for everyone.

  • Gaming mouse (G603/G703) doesn't support multi devices? I didn't know this fact.

    • No easy device switching/multi pairing

  • the only thing I dont like the logitech 22S anywhere is the infinite scroll , hard to control :(
