Bluedio T Energy (TN) ANC, is it functioning?

Hi Guys,

I've just received my V2 and TN from bluedio, but just not sure if the ANC on the TN's are working.

I've tried contacting bluedio support, which pretty much dismissed my concerns. I haven't got any other bluedio ANC device so I've got nothing to compare it to, so if anyone else has one that can let me know if mines functioning correctly that would be awesome.

So here's how my TN's function.
The ANC switch turns on with or without the main power switch and the red light comes on.
No white noise or anything noticeable with it in ears with no bluetooth on. The same thing when I play music via BT nothing noticeable at all.
I've used QC35 II and beats and when the ANC is on you can tell, I'm not expecting that quality of ANC for a $20 pair of ear buds but thought something should happen when I flick on the ANC switch.

Thanks

  • I have a pair, and I don't notice anything either. Does seem to be slightly quieter with them on rather than without them… might just be a psychological/ proper sealing earbuds thing… I don't have any other ANC devices to compare it to.

BTW, if you do multiple clicks of the volume up or down button on the headset, do you find that they ignore your input? A single click seems to work fine for me.

    • Cheers mate. I can't tell not even a slight difference at all. Maybe that's how these are thanks for confirming AG_ACT.

I've tested the multiple clicks, and same as yours multi clicks mostly ignores all inputs. But single clicks work 90% of the times.

  • I have the faith F2 and that too does the same thing. I believe ANC on these are just a gimmick so never bothered investigating further.

    • cool as long as that's the build and I haven't got a faulty one.

  • I tested the TN recently on the plane and the ANC works quiet well. Not as good as my Bose QC25 but good enough to significantly reduce the engine noise and it's wireless.

    • Jackofspade, when you have the ANC on in the house can you tell that it's on? I just want to ensure I haven't received a dud, that's all.

      • No, the noise from a dryer is a good test

  • I've been using the TN more than the V2, such a comfortable ear piece and battery has been lasting an 8hr day for me.

  • I've tried the anc in a room with a cieling fan and i can now notice the anc kicking in. Cheers everyone
