Sounds the same as all other online mattress companies, anyone have experience with Onebed?
Do you like the Koala?
We have an original 3 layer Koala and this Onebed in the spare room. We prefer the Koala because we’re side sleepers and it is a bit more forgiving, however it is also 3 years older with everyday use, so that could play a factor.
Visitors seem happy with the Onebed, so looks like we’ll be keeping it.
Do your onebed has the layering system like the one they are selling now? Have you tried to swap them around to get a similar softness as the Koala?
@Leedian: Our Onebed is only 3 months old, so yes it is the same as the one they are selling now.
It came with the latex layer on top (supposedly medium-firm) and we opened and switched to have the foam layer on top (supposedly medium). We found the latex layer to be softer, but neither was as soft as the original 3 layer Koala. It is currently latex side up and no complaints from visitors.
I cannot really comment on the newer 2 layer version of the Koala mattress, other than to say it feels firmer than the 3 layer version from the 5 minutes spent lying on the demo in Myer. Koala claim there is no difference between the two.
I’ve got a onebed.
It’s brilliant. Most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. Waiting for a sale to buy a queen and double for spare rooms.
I have one of these mattresses and since buying it, I've had less back pain than I have had in years. Its not perfect, you can feel like you have sunk into it when being lazy in bed all day but it is darn better than you buy from stores.
Have to add to cart for the price to drop to $750.
I have a Koala, I wonder how these compare.
