  • Are you associated with this? Posting an eBay deal for a cheap cable that looks like all of your normal knock of Chinese cables that don't work seems fishy to me (no pun intended as the seller is fishing world!)

    • +2

USB C 3.1 with 3A charging is not a cheap cable, and usually not for this price (for 2).

      • +2

There's not a single brand name on it nor is there any proof it's 3.1. I've seen dozens of USB-C cables advertised as 3.0 or 3.1 that didn't even have the pins for it.

      • Wooosh

  • +6

Nope mate not associated, wouldn't recommend on here if was dodgy, bought a few for me and all work and are fast charging, its a price error, try any other mobile and price is $7 to $8, but seller honored the price, bargain ive been using for 1 month now super strong even after baby pulled on cable a few times

  • Whats the difference with the fits to options?

    • All are identical usb-c fast charging to usbA standard

    • +6

Just an ebay hack to list products higher when filtered by price by creating too many combinations and pricing one combo (or a useless product) real cheap. Crackdown on ebay cheats in long overdue.

  • -4

    Shows $7.90 for me x2

    • Read description…

Select nokia n1 tab then colour gray price comes down

  • another unbranded chinese cable?

    • +5

yep. IMHO it's Blitzwolf, Anker or nothing.

      • +1

Baseus and Xiaomi are good too.

  • Thank you!

  • nokia n1 type C cable is different to samsung s9 ?

    • -2

Is that a question or a statement?

  • Out of stock … seller might have plugged the loopholes ..

    • Back again.

  • +2

Damn, right as I go to buy one ebay tells me it's out of stock. OzBargained.

  • +2

Thank you for sharing decio great find 👍

    • +1

hehe thanks for trying to make us feel better, but maybe more relevent to a faulty charger or phone rather than a cable :)

  • Ive been using these cables for a while I wouldn't purchase a charger that wasn't branded as the internals are usually random wattage ampage which can cause fires

  • Als9 I had that happen went to purchase a few more 2 weeks back then sold out but 2 days later back up again worth a check in a few days

  • gray out of stock!, oh well

    • Check links below this comment found some more mate

  • Just looked through there ebay other items selling they have a few adds up so still available be quick

  • +1
    • Fixed this.

  • +3

Dude stop posting individual links as comments. Edit the original post.

    • As there's multiple links i thought couldn't post them all if i edited so added to the post instead

  • -3

I just dont see your point. Blitzwolf, Anker; Ugreen run sale from time to time with only few bucks, which is already incredible price. Why you have to run for an unbranded, unknown origin chinese replica.
Maybe just eat less, for 1 time only, of Mcdonald or Pizza where hundreds of upvote each and every time it shows up can help your health in everyway.

    • +1

Where do you think majority of these cables are made, just because a company adds there label to it doesn't make it better mate, these are a real bargain very good quality and thought to share with the community

      • -2

this sound very familiar such an argument. It's not Samsung or Apple here. Such an argument does not apply to this market where Blitzwolf, Anker; Ugreen or Xiaomi huawei are trying their best to guarantee their service even at lost. This could not be compare to whatever whoever from nowhere to produce a look-similar product and using your argument mate. You are insane.

      • +1

The biggest issue with no brand stuff is consistency. Random person A goes to a Chinese manufacturer that also makes blitzwolf. Asks for 1000 cables. Needs to sell them for cheap so doesn't pay for the QA checks. Sure 990 of them a good, but 10 dud ones snuck through.

It a comes down to a risk game.

      • Yes that s what I did. It's called a table, strangely, and GLOD for gold, hilarious..

      • Well seem to be all OOS on all listings now.

  • Select LeEco max/ le 2 in colur pink some left

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2PCS-3A-Fast-Charger-Type-C-USB-…

    • Shows as $3.72 for me. LeEco max/ le 2 in pink x 2 = $3.72

  • +1

Are you selecting 2 as selecting 1 is for 2x cables selecting 2 is asking for 2 lots of 2x cables

    • oh i SEE!!!!

  • Bought 1 pack. Thanks alot OP :)

  • +1

Is this deal expired? Select LeEco max/ le 2 in colour pink shows $6.99.

  • Try different link either LeEco max/ le 2 in pink or nokia n1 tab color gray

Got an email from the seller. Poor them - was a pricing error and we Ozbargained them. They will still honor it though - but with random colours. If you have bought, you’ll get an email via eBay to explain their situation.

    Dear friend
    Good evening
    Thanks for your purchase
I am glad to tell you that you got our 2PCS quality cables by the less $2 . Even if I will lost about 4.8$ for 2PCS cables, but I am a honest seller and will still sent the cables to you as a gift during the 12 hours after i sent the message. Now i have recovered the normal price $7.9 . I hope that i will do more business with you.

To be honest, i really do not know why so many people found out the low price. Almost 500 people bought the gray cable by the low price during 4 hours today. all of the cables is almost out of the stock. I have sold about 1100PCS Gray today . Really strange ! Would you mind to tell me how to find out my listing ? Thanks

There are so many people bought the gray cables today. But I am sorry to tell you that we only have about 240 PCS gray cables. Fortunately I have other colors .The total quantity is about 1200 PCS( Gray ,Silver, Gold and Pink). So I had to sent other random colors ( Silver , Gold or Pink ) to you so that you can get the cable in normal shipping time after i run out of the gray. If not, i have no enough gray cables.

If you bought two , three or more quantity, i will try my best sent one gray with other random color . Please ,Please kindly do not choose the color by the message because i am not sure which colors is enough. So i just can sent the random color to some people. Thanks for your understanding
If you got the color cable you dislike, please kindly do not angry with it and left the negative feedback to me. Please . Thanks for your understanding again.

I hope that you will get the cable early and recommend it to more people.
If you have any question, please kindly let me know it

    Best regards
    Have a nice day
    Ann

Poor seller. Maybe the community needs to make sure they give positive feedback.

    • You beat me to it! Haha

      • What's the etiquette here? Are we not supposed to tell them we came from ozbargain? Hahaha

    • I urge everyone to ask the seller to cancel the order. I did.

      • Why? The seller was doing the wrong thing and it bit them on the arse…

        • To me, it seems was a mistake. Almost all seller who do this usually put low price on a useless items, not the original item.

          • @freewhere: It was a mistake to manipulate the ebay search results to make it hard for us to find what we want? How about they just be honest and not screw with us… Ebay need to crack down on this deceptive behavior…

            • @FLICKIT: It's ok man, I don't think you or me could know his intentions with certainly.
the seller reached out and I personally can live without 2 cables

      • +1

I don't agree. While it is unfortunate that he has received 500+ orders, this could be a real deterrent for sellers who employ such tricks. And it wasn't a mistake; many sellers do the exact same thing (i.e. hiding the lowest price behind one of the obscure combinations) so why should we assume that this seller's intentions were different?

Edit: See another one of their listings: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-2M-Fast-Charger-Micro-USB-Data… If you choose Oppo R11S the price is $1.93, otherwise $4.73. It is the exact same cable (even the picture doesn't change).

        • +1

True that does seem intentional. With this new evidence, I stand corrected.

  • +1

Yeah I feel really bad, I have offered to send the seller the remaining amount. It's one thing when you take advantage of someone like Harvey Norman, however smaller independent sellers who relay on feedback are at the mercy of the system when something like this happens. They will have no choice but to send them at their own expense as to not receive any bad feedback. Hope everyone leaves them with good feedback.

  • Unbranded cables, who know what he paid for them?

Really, if It was a simple mistake and he will lose money why doesn't he just cancel?

    • +7

They've had 20,000+ sales with 99.8% positive feedback, so they seem to be one of the better chinese sellers, I assume they want to protect their feedback and reputation…

I doubt it was a simple mistake, it was a trick to improve their position in search results…

The way I see it, this is the risk they run when they use manipulative tricks to improve their position in search results… I assume they had the low price on that one cable so they would appear in searches at $1.84 rather than at $7.90… We all hate this kind of search result manipulation, it's just as bad as claiming Aus shipping when they ship from china, so even though I kinda feel sorry for the seller, I also have the opinion that it serves them right !

      • This! It's not a pricing error, it's intentional manipulation of eBay search.
Usually they will have a product like Adaptor only or something for $1 and the actual product for $8, but I think eBay search is getting better at detecting the price of the product you search for, so they do this instead, hoping that most customers won't find the cheap one.

      • Oh wow I never considered that. If that is true than yeah I don't real bad anymore.

        Thanks for the insight!

      • This is exactly what happened. Glad I ordered 10.

      • -1

These are pretty cheap for for these usb cables. All other <$2 cables on ebay are usb 2.0 or less than 2A. With the high seller rating, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

    • You can't just cancel. Ebay has seller policies put in place. If you cancel too much, your items in search results will be lowered. You also risk limited by ebay and risk having funds locked up by Paypal. They have ratings like % returns, % cancellations, % refunds. Once its goes too low its pretty much account banned, funds locked up.

  • Below is the message I received from the seller.

I felt bad as I exploited that small business owner but felt ok given I ordered only 2. Now, I found that in the tracking information he provided below

    Nov 13, 2018
    17:13pm
    Shipped via [Australia Post]
    Nov 13, 2018
    17:13pm
    Picked up Package from Origin
    Nov 12, 2018
    01:34am PST
    Tracking number provided

the thing is delivered in less almost two days which is quite surprising given he is in Sydney and I am in Melbourne 3000. I dont expect him to use a fast shipping method for something he is already ripped off. I haven't got the thing and neither Aust post left a ticket for me. So not sure what is going on here? Did he fake up the whole delivery thing to save himself from bigger loss?

Wondering if others have received their wires by now? Thanks
