eSIM Roaming 10days Ult'd Data in Japan, SKorea, US, Canada, UK, China, HK, Aus, Italy, Thai,Sweden & More ~$24.55 AU @ Three HK

160

First and foremost, you need a phone with eSIM tech to get this roaming SIM.
* iPhone XR/XS
* iPad LTE^
* Google Pixel 2 or 3^

^These devices have eSIM, not entirely sure if they work with Three's offering.

Essentially, you scan a QR code on your screen and you "have" the eSIM. There are no int'l delivery charges because all you need is said QR code. It should be an instant process

10-Day roaming day pass has no limit in data usage. Lower as $13.8/day. Online is Free and Fun!

10-Day China, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Australia, USA, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Denmark, Austria, France $138 [HKD]

I hope this helps someone. I personally haven't tested this roaming eSIM as I have a Nokia 8. Apologies in advance if I misunderstood the dodgy English in the 3 HK page.

  • Can anyone confirm this can be activated without being in Hong Kong?

    The site says "Recommend to activate the eSIM in HK and please ensure the mobile data is active in your device when you are activating the eSIM"

    • Well it does say recommend, rather than required. I hope this is just the case where Three wants the customer to have it all setup because the customer might not get free WiFi in whatever country.

      I hope someone can enlighten us both.

    • Im not buying it until someone can confirm.

    • Can confirm this works. Just bought and activated this while in japan.

  • Could this be done via VPN or would the esim need to register on a HK mobile network?

    • when i bought a china unicom HK sim i was roaming inside china and bypassed the great firewall without VPN

      kinda hilarious cause everyone was asking me how the hell i was doing it

      i suspect this is the same if its based out of HK

  • Cannot buy via an AU number it seems, as the mobile number field caps out at 8 digits…

  • You can put in any 8 numbers, it only does the OTP via email. Yet to buy though, but will be looking to buy closer to when I am traveling…

  • Why is this marked as expired?
    When I followed the link and is still available…

    • Not my doing. Any luck with it?

    • Worked fine for me a few days back…
