    Does the Japan Docomo plan have any advantages over the 10 asian country sim besides 256kb vs 128kb 2G speeds?

    My trip will last just under 7 weeks in South Korea and Japan. Would it be fine to purchase 2 30 day, 10 asia country sims and activate the second one once the 30 days are up?

    Also, if I use up all my data on the second sim can I just purchase another sim (3rd) and activate when required.

    I would also appreciate it, if you could list the service providers for South Korea and Japan.

      The Japan Docomo brand is the largest and oldest carrier in Japan, they are very popular among tourists. However the other carriers are well established over the years and they provide great services nowadays as well.

      For your 7 weeks journey in South Korea and Japan, yes, you can purchase 2 x 30-Day 10 Asia Countries eSIM. Please only install the second one when you finished the first one (first 30 Days), as it will instant auto-activate when you are in one of the 10 destinations. If you use up the second eSIM data, yes you can order a new eSIM and we will email to you instantly on order.

      The South Korea networks are LGU+ and SKT, for Japan the networks are KDDI and Softbank. All are on 5G/4G networks, you can manually connect to them if required, and they provide great coverages.

              We are based in Sydney, we use AusPost Priority Mail and should normally take a few days, but sometimes it is out of our control as there are delays with AusPost. If you need it urgently (let's say within the coming 8 business days), we recommend choosing Express at checkout to ensure it arrives before your departure date.

              For the Kakao app, as long as they are not changing the phone, we understand they can keep using the original assigned phone number even changing the sim. They can still make / receive calls within the app itself.

      All of our sims / eSIMs support mobile hotspot, however we do not recommend using them in any pocket-wifi devices.

      For the unlimited eSIM, the allowance is (Total Days - 1) x 1GB. For example, if you purchase a 11 Days Unlimited eSIM, you can share a total of 10GB within the 11 Days.

      Hi @salrock, for the Japan Unlimited, we currently only offer eSim right now. For hotspot, yes, you can share hotspot. The hotspot limit is (Total Days - 1) x 1GB. For example, if you purchase a 15 Days Unlimited eSIM, you can share a total of 14GB within the 15 Days.

      Thanks for your question. All eSIMs except the USA / USA Canada Mexico are sent within couple of minutes of order.

      For the USA / USA Canada Mexico eSIM, we need to check phone compatibility with the US network so it takes longer.

    Hey @SimPower - hoping you might help in case your not monitoring your emails - I just purchased 2 esims for the wife and I ahead of our trip but doesn’t look like we got the QR codes sent through or the link in the email is broken?

    If I buy it today when will it arrive? I am based in Sydney NSW.

    I am traveling 23rd Sept and finally out of Japan 24th Oct. Plan on getting a 22day sim card

    Expired deal but just some feedback for any future sales/purchases. I used the 30G 30 days eSIM while in Japan in September. Travelled in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Shizuoka and it was rock solid reliable throughout. It would switch between 5G and 4G bands depnding on location, but I was consistently getting 100Mbps down at least in each time I tested it. Would use again for a future trip!
