30cm Box Fan or 40cm Pedestal Fan Clearance - $5 at Kmart Deer Park Vic

450

Hi All

I was in Kmart Deer Park (Vic) tonight and saw homemaker fans on clearance for $5 each.

There were heaps available, eg 100 x Pedestal Fans, 30 x Box Fans

Not sure if all Kmarts are clearing stock.

    Kmart Caloundra/Maroochydore are also clearing.

I can feel the negs coming…but I feel like this is a cheap way to get blown…

    • Right on time to blow those winter blues away!

  • Left over stock from the summer that wasn't (except if you lived in Perth). Can anyone confirm that its all Kmarts?

It's freezing right now here in Vic so I can see why they are on clearance.

I got a couple of the box fans for 10 bux each a few weeks ago. They are ok I guess, one has broken already, the plastic is really feeble. You Can't argue with $5 though. They have been $8 for the past week or so, I guess they aren't moving.

      maybe they weren't plugged in

  • good fan, dropped it a couple of times still working

but agree with comments on the make.. very flimsy plastic

I don't see how people can complain about these.

They come from the same manufacturer as the majority of fans you see.

I have the pedestal fan from last summer and it's still going strong but isn't in the best or safest condition. I dropped and knocked it over a few times then one day I came home and it had cracked open (along the button area) on the sides of the fan and was exposing the wires and crap inside, I think the night before I kicked it over in my sleep and I didn't notice it in the morning, I had wrapped the power cord around the fan and made some sort of knot to hold the fan together otherwise it would droop down and just blow air at the floor, then one day that came undone so I got a bunch of stick tape and taped it together, now it's working strong, cooling me as I type this epic saga of the $10 fan, I've loved and hated this fan (once it fell on my face when I was sleeping and I had a mini heart attack from being woken up with pain and a fan on my face), but for $5 it's a great fan (I got 2x for $20).

Dont bother if you live in WA, Kmart sold out of all their fans months ago.

perth never get $5 fans…i bet we get $5 heaters instead

  • Kmart stores across taste also clearing out these fans at $5,below cost price

  • Jees $5 sounds all right till you read some of these comments. Cheap way to burn your house down or get electrocuted.

    • No one said anything about electrocution or fires…..

      • exactly.

i have two of these fans - you have to assemble them (took 10min each).

downside is that most of the weight is in the fan motor assembly - a light push will cause it rock a bit but not fall over.

i bought them when they were $9 each. good fans.

    • Yeah, a few months from now I can imagine someone coming on here and negging this deal because "I bought this fan to cool me down, and instead it caught fire and heated my house up, so that's why I'm negging this deal"

  • Just got a couple more for spares at Chaddie. They are $8 on the ticket but scan at $5.

  • some kmarts have the metal 40cm pedestal fans that were 49 bux down to 10 bux

  • bugga bought them for $12 when it was on sale doh
