I once tried to price match a game from a JB store in VIC to Gamesmen. They said no because it was interstate.
Is it just me or does the guy on the right in that thumb look a bit like hannibal lecter… Welcome to games men, where we take a bite out of the prices. So are you a deep roller or a shallow roller clearice?
I think these two guys are these two guys: Guzman y Gomez. The names are similar, the logos are similar and I’ve never seen all four in the same room!

@darthhasbro: thanks for the heads up. i didn’t mean to cause offence and i was ignorant of the circumstances. my comment was mainly a joke about the logo and similar names. I don’t think i was being derogitory or offensive.
Hard to forget that day.
As a kid The Gamesmen was pretty much the only place to get video games and peripherals. Those two men were all over the news and kids TV shows spruiking gaming.
And then on that day, everything changed. Sad times.
There’s a plaque and photo of him in-store.
I know The Gamesmen has changed a lot over the years. But for us oldies, it holds a special place for us.

You don’t, Amazon will do it themselves.
You can’t, but amazon often will price match these deals by themselves.
They usually keep an eye on OzBargain and other traders, prices usually update quickly without even asking.
If not a quick chat to their support is all it takes.
It's kind of a shame how nonchalantly Amazon will match the price of sales from these small, independent stores. The Aussie in me would prefer to support the Gamesmen, but the lazy Ozbargainer in me loves Amazon.
Still, I expect everyone with this price will sell all their stock anyway.
These are the standard black Friday prices. Controllers will be cheap soon enough also. Where you can please support your local retailers like Gamesmen.
I just wish that they would deliver new games on the day they are released like amazon. You’re lucky if they even post it on the date the game is released with these muppets.
That's not true, I received RDR2 from Gamesmen the day before release.
Your mileage may differ for smaller releases I suppose.You got lucky. I had this happen for Destiny 2, Wolfenstein 2 and Call of Duty. Still AAA releases. A look at their reviews shows that it is pretty common.
