Just got an email for free kindle credit from Amazon Australia. If you haven't bought a kindle book for over a year, check your email. Good timing since there seems to be a sale going on. Here are the conditions:

This is a limited time offer available only to customers residing in Australia, New Zealand, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Christmas Island, Heard Island and McDonald Islands, Cook Islands, Tokelau, Niue, or Norfolk Island.

Offer is limited to to Amazon.com.au customers who receive this email and have not purchased a Kindle book in the past year, offer is limited to one per customer and account.

The credit may only be used to purchase Kindle Books sold by Amazon.com.au in the Amazon.com.au Kindle Store.

This is a limited time offer and this credit will expire at 11:59 pm AEDT, 31st December 2018.

  • Only downside is "Unfortunately you do not qualify for this promotion either because your country/region settings are not valid for this promotion" because I'm still set up for amazon.com

    Can change my region to use amazon.com.au but "Your Echo or Alexa-enabled device(s) will be reset, and you will need to re-register your device(s). This includes smart home devices, routines, timers, alarms, enabled skills and linked accounts."

    Starting to sound like too much work..

  • Is there any way to search on titles sold by Amazon.com.au?

  • I couldn't get this to work. Tried to buy a $4.99 book and it kept telling me the promotion has expired.
