yes has to be sold and fulfilled by Amazon. 3rd party seller and fulfilled by Amazon doesnt work.

I love black Friday, it feels like Christmas around here

  • When I was looking at the black friday list, I noticed only a handful of deal managed to get over 50 "+". Are we all having too much expectation? Or this black friday is just littered with petty deals.

    • Every shopping event, every year, has a similar comment. See Click Frenzy.

On average, around 25% of all deals make the front page. Let's see what Friday & Saturday brings us.

  • Do Myers have any big sales on Black Fridays?

  • Anyone eyeing off any Garmin watches? I've been looking out for the Forerunner 935. Currently $399 at Rebel. Subtract 10% black friday and 7% cashback it takes it down to $331, the cheapest I've seen. Anyone think we will be able to find lower than this over the course of the weekend?

  • Any phone deals? Like s9 or pixel?

Maybe its just me, but i dont see that many real deals. Will wait for boxing day sales

    • +1

      It's all just marketing hype

    • Same. I've got a couple of video games but everything else I look at and just think "meh".

    • It isn't just you. As usual all the vendors on ebay jacked up their prices and the sales are as mediocre as ever. boxing day always seems a lot better as sellers are desperate for last minute sales before they go into the very quiet first few months of the year.

  • Has anyone tried trading games with EB during the sales? Does the trade value dip as well? Looking at getting rid of my non used games to buy games on sale. Thanks!

    • Yes, drastically. I was advised by staff to trade in before the sales.

      • Ah I guess I'll just wait for that extra trade credit stuff. Thanks!

  • +1

Does anyone think eBay will do another sitewide discount over the weekend? I slept on the one yesterday as I thought it would still be available today

  • What changes from Cyber Monday can we expect from Black Friday? Like is it more electronical stuff, or everttyhinggggg

    • Well, Black Friday was for physical store sales and Cyber Monday for online sales, but that didn't really happen, so I don't know what difference Cyber Monday would be.

  • Anyone else get an authorisation charge from Amazon and then an additional charge when shipped?

I contacted their customer support and they reckon the authorisation will fall off but that is a really poor way of doing business if I can have up to twice the amount of my order unavailable in my bank. I’ve never noticed it before either and I have been shopping with Amazon for quite some time.

  • Where is Hisense TV Deal?

  • Anyone know if Amazon will do something for cyber Monday?

    • +2

When I contacted chat support about something else, they said to keep an eye out for Cyber Monday. So yeah I'd say they'll do something at least.

  • best SSD deal please?

  • I’ve got my fingers crossed for another Nintendo Switch deal tomorrow. Hesitated on pulling the trigger on Friday and have been regretting it all weekend!

  • +1

Google Play, Nintendo eShop, eBay and etc. Most places were a bust with Black Friday. I wonder if Cyber Monday will be any different, but doubtful. It looks like other years were better.

  • +1

Nothing exciting during this sale. Expecting some 65' OLEDs around #3K. :(

  • +1

Really disappointing black friday and cyber monday, honestly was like most other weekends.

  • Cyber Monday? Totally pissweak!

  • Merged from Where’s All The Cyber Monday Deals?

Been checking all day and haven’t seen much

Has Cyber Monday morphed into Black Friday?

Looking for things like Netgear Orbi RK50
LIFX having the worst cyber Monday deals I’ve ever seen
Most stores I’ve checked have no specials at all

Unless it all kicks in American time?

    • +3

      Wondering the same…

    • +2

I’m broke from Black Friday but was surprised there was no 10 or 15% off eBay, nothing. Cyber Monday was a flop.

      • It seems eBay's tactic was sales before the date. 15% day before Black Friday and 10% on Sat+Sun before Cyber Monday.

    • American deals will probably start soon

Australian deals seemed to lump cyber Monday in with small business Saturday and black Friday all on Friday our time and thanksgiving their time .

    • :(

    • Cyber Monday was basically non-existent. Any sales left over from Black Friday ends today.

    • It’s been pretty underwhelming.

    • Considering the Black Friday is based on an American holiday, I’m just glad we got even a few good sales over here.

    1. Will Cashback put its offer back up again with American Cyber Monday tonight?

    2. Will there be automatic coffee machine better deals via Amazon au as above?

Insurance confirmed they will replace my TV with a Hisense 65R7 or I can get a payout of $1050. Currently the TV is advertised for about $1400 (It was on special for $1100 2 days ago.) What do you guys think.. Take the cash and hope I can get something better for like $200 more or at least the same TV for the same price.. Or just get the replacement tv.
