    The 2 seater plus 2 individual seats and the tables were reduced to $250 from $500 at a few places when I checked last if anyone is looking.

          Hey cnut, I just called Aldi and they said they are sold out Australia wide, I mentioned that I had heard some had been reduced to $250 and she said that would be stock that had been returned, which they don't keep in the system.

          So, are you able to share the stores you saw them at?

    Is this the same as Bunnings? Is it half the price? Is the quality similar to $1000 ones?:) I’m thinking to give this a try nothing much to lose I guess.

    Do you think they will only have like 3 and people queuing up at 6am?:) if so I’m not gonna bother lol

      Very similar but the cushions only come with one set of covers (my Aldi one came with 2 sets, 1 x black and 1 x white). I haven't tried the $1000 ones but if you see my comment below, I don't think it is good quality. Anyway it has been useful to have but it probably won't last much beyond 2 years. I sent my husband early last year and I think there were only a few sets available.

    Yeah nah! Give it a couple of months out of the weather & direct sunlight, covered when not in use and the wicker crumbles just looking at it. $299 not well spent I'm afraid

      Yes same thing happened to mine… Considered trying to return to Aldi and claim on warranty but decided I couldn't be bothered and would have to consider this as "disposable furniture". Such a waste. Just over a year old and still fine to sit on but the wicker on the arms just cracking and breaking away if you touch it. Not in full sun either. Bunnings has a similar set for around the same price and my friend bought it. I don't know if there is much difference in the quality but it seems ok so far. I feel like it would be easier to return to Bunnings.

        It's pretty easy to return to Aldi to be honest, especially if there is visible damage.

    I have the wicker setup, its great for the price. Not uncomfortable by any means. Has had a fair amount of sun exposure over the past 3 months but doesnt seem affected at all.
