      Yes, all new remotes must be programmed before they will be able to operate. All of our remotes generally include instructions or are available in the item detail on the product page.         why does anyone need more than one button?? how many households has 4 garage doors.

        Im curious what do other people use the other 3 buttons for?

        How do I get this coded? Can I DIY or do I need to bring to a shop?

          Some people have multiple garages and gates. You can code all four buttons to the same motor so no matter what button you push the motor will operate. The coding must be done at the motor (instructions are provided) and can be done by yourself. Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks, was just looking earlier today for a B&D Tri-Tran+ (TB6) remote. They are pretty expensive. Lucky I waited until tonight and saw this. This brought the price down lower than other eBay sellers.
