Yes. For best sound quality I always connect my speakers via Bluetooth HDMI Optical

  • How good are sound bars? Was going to buy the Yamaha N500 deal for $499…

Depends on what you define as good.

They are convenient and discreet, but IMO dollar for dollar they will never beat a set of bookshelf speakers.

      • cheers - I don't need discreet, but I've only heard good things about this soundbar, so thought they would be on-par with something of that price range in bookshelfs.
Thanks, I'll think about getting the N500….

IMO I disagree…. dollar for dollar this soundbar is better than bookshelf speakers… bookshelf speakers are better for sound quality though. You have to factor in a receiver with bookshelves.

        the Yamaha N500 don't need a receiver, and for $499, I think it's a steal…..https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/417736

Didnt see that one! For that price, go the N500 for sure!

  • How do these compare to something like the Sony HTX9000F?

  • Other than the subwoofer, any reason to get the YAS 207 over this?

    • +1

      207 is 200w vs 120w for the 108
