In Australia, being an Australian website, I think they should be called thongs.

No. In every single part of this wide brown land, the footwear for sale above are called 'thongs'. Nothing else.
We are aware that they have other names in other countries, and even tolerate visitors and ex pats of those countries calling them such, but they are, and I sincerely hope forever will be, thongs.
If you're going to add every international variation for every product listed here then take the "Oz" out of the site name.To be fair, you are right - I have lived in the US for some of my life.
I call them thongs but I've been told that in the UK men wearing thongs does not paint a pleasant mental picture.
The ones at North Rocks in Sydney are really cheap and nasty plain and printed rubber. The printing wears off the first time they are worn. But the plain ones are fine.

One assumes in the store - Kmart.
In the shoe section even?no normally these bargain bins are in the middle of wide aisles. I know that whenever I go to Big W for example, it's hard to find these bargain bins.
another reason I ask is because I'm stopping by at Broadway on my way to an appointment, so if I knew where to look, I'd save some time
Is it just me or has Kmart become really cheap and nasty lately? Their new stores are fitted out with less stock and bright fluorescent 7-11 style lighting. The stock that they do now carry is low price and low quality. The whole Kmart experience is unpleasant and is starting to resemble a $2 store (with slightly less stock). Just sayin'

That is cause Kmart are going to be stocking pretty only their line of goods, except for things they cannot make themselves, like games, dvds, some lines of food etc.
Everything else is going to be pretty much kmart branding, like Now, Girl Express etc.
All shoes on clearance are further reduced by 50% at Kmart Parramatta. Probably are at all stores.
Yeah it's Australia wide. Vic stores have 50% off clearance shoes (started 26/3) and the discount is already included in the 50c price :P
Has anyone check if other Kmart stores in NSW have the same deal?
Are they double plugger dragon thongs?
