This seems like a pretty good deal if you're looking to pick up the new EOS R with lens. I'm not sure when the special ends, I think it's part of their Black Friday sale so probably tonight but maybe longer. The Black Friday sale is on until the 28th of November.

Body only is also on sale for $2699 and there are some other good deals in the sale that might be worth a look.

The cheapest price on ebay is $4038 from Hong Kong so I think this is a good deal because it's Australian stock so easy to deal with for warranty support. Also the crew at Leederville Cameras have been pretty good when I've shopped there.

If I was a bit more flush with cash I'd pick one up but I'm not so I'm living vicariously through anyone who grabs one at this price. :P

  I just saw that they have the Canon 6D mark ii body for $1499. This is dangerously within my budget… maybe time to go full frame after all…

  If I'm going mirrorless full frame I'm gonna wait for 2nd gen. Always wait for 2nd gen with new tech.

    Yeah, to be honest I would recommend that too but I got excited when I saw the price. :P
    I figured it's a good price so I should share it here.
    There are probably two more models being released by Canon next year so it's not even such a long wait.
