Asus TV500BG Bluetooth Gamepad $9 (Free Pickup) @ Computer Alliance

460

I recently bought Nvidia Shield like many of you. I was looking for a controller, after doing some research I found Asus TV500BG Bluetooth Gamepad works with it. I was ready to pay $19 as it was the cheapest price on offer. While I was at the store -price was reduced to $9. It is now showing $9 on their website. ONLY WHILE STOCKS LAST! Good for anyone lives in Brisbane. Not sure about postage.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2018

    This is perfect, thank you!

  • Even though it is mentioned "Limit 1 per customer", I was able to get 2 as I was accompanying my son. The store person mentioned they have plenty in stock, didn't seems at all worried about running out of stock soon.

  • $29 postage wew lad

  • $15 postage for me. NSW

  • Just bought two $19 each, sadly

  • Where did you buy for $19?

  • got 2, will have to take Mrs for a drive

I got these things last time they were on sale. No rumble, but otherwise fantastic for the price. Works with windows too.
The only issue is that there is no start button, (they're mapped to home and back android buttons), so if games have start mapped to them you get a bit stuffed.

    • Thanks, was trying to find whether the controller has motors to support motor. So, it doesn't have them.

      • I also heard these things suffer from lag. Basically equivalent to your $5-$50 Chinese gamepads, and not as tight latency-wise as say the first-party Xbox controllers.

  • No longer available or link dead

    Hi guys

Current stock is reserved for a promotion related to the Courier Mail being printed tomorrow. The deal will go back up then (didn't want to sell them all tonight!!)

We have some hundreds in stock, so no great rush, but they probably won't last the weekend.

These are intended for sales in the shop, but we will ship if people are happy to pay the usual shipping fee.

    One per customer.

And before someone asks, no, they will not be on eBay at this price.

    • Will we be able to order for pickup in the morning?

    • I ordered one successfully but can only pick it up next thursday, I selected payment in store, how long do you guys can keep an unpaid order?

    • Shame it's one per customer. Would have been good get a group buy for people interstate wanting to split postage.

    • Hi rep. I can't seem to add to cart and the price seems to have jumped backt o $19. Is this deal still on, because it's not showing as expired here on OzB. Would love to pick one up tomorrow but don't want to make the drive up to Brissie if it's not on sale.

  • What differences between this one and the one comes along with Shiled TV + Controller bundles? Thanks!

    • Different brands, no microphone.

got one last deal. it's good but was a pain to get working. after asus drivers installed, gamepad still didn't respond to any input on pc or steam (left stick when held down would erratically move but that was it). thought it was a lemon. had to config the controller using the freeware antimicro, then the gamepad worked to navigate the mouse around the screen, click etc, have left antimicro off since initial setup. steam then detected the gamepad as an xbox 360 controller after this and i was able to config the stick sensitivity via steam bigpicture mode (gamepad sensitivity is natively way too high to use on FPS games). now all is smooth sailing!

    • Does it come with a bluetooth dongle or need to purchase separately?

      • No bt dongle supplied but connects to inbuilt bt on pc or android just fine.

  • Great, now I know how much I was ripped off when I bought my Shield with Asus controller 4 days before it was the same price for a nvidia one

  • Anyone else who has this finds the analogue sticks noisy? That and the shoulder bumpers being unergonomic would be my only issues with this controller

    The TV500BG are back up

    $15 delivery damn

  • Can this be used to play Game of War craft 3.0?

  • Will this run on retro pi fine ???

  • Will this work on my android phone/tablet?

    • works on my lg g4 smoothly. without any setup or config required

  • If only I could walk all the way to QLD from VIC!

  • Works fine in PES 2018.

  • Works with Lakka on Raspberry Pi. But, the D Pad on this is terrible.

  • Delivery kills it for me, can't justify paying +150% of the item price just to get it shipped! Anyone know of anything similar that can be purchased through ebay? Seems like there are a lot of 'cheap' options, but as we know, 'cheap' =/= 'good'
