Not sure why it says code active tomorrow.
    The code is active now.
I just used the code and bought the PSU.

    • +1

      That's the expiry 😊

      • +1

        Oh..My bad..

  • +2

I went with express shipping (2-3 days) for just over $1 more. Cheers OP!

    • +1

I saw that. Lol but I am not in hurry. So I just leave it be as best bargain I can get. :D

      • Did you get cashback?

        • Ya, AUD 0.53 only. Cash back doesn't apply to shipping unfortunately.

  • +2

Anyone had experience with their warranty?

    • I read they aren't as good as amazon. But I pulled the trigger as its meant to be a quality product. I've the taken the risk I suppose.

    • +1

      EVGA has international warranty, right?

      • I'd like to know too.

      • From here https://www.evga.com/articles/00671/

        Explanation of warranty periods
Limited Lifetime, Limited 10 Year and Limited 5 Year Warranties
This warranty is available for customers located in North America and Canada.

        This makes me wonder.

        • Need a solicitor to decipher that

      • +1

Okay so I'm not waiting for the warranty confirmation. This is a good deal and I'm going for it

EDIT: Bought it. Now just CPU, motherboard, cabinet, keyboard and mouse are left

      • Yes but usually you are on the hook for shipping costs back to Taiwan. Not sure if PayPal's return shipping policy covers that (probably not).

It's better than no warranty but not as good as local.

        • It's not confirmed that there is no international warranty. Actually, according to EVGA's website, we should get local warranty

          • @Sopzo: EVGA also has a transferable warranty policy so if you buy something and later on sell it, the new user can register the item against their EVGA account and the warranty carries across; the period left is then determined whether you still have the receipt and give that to the new user or not in which case, it will default to whatever EVGA decide which is usually 2-3 years from the date the item is marked as sold in their system.

    • I've heard it's very mediocre… unless damaged by shipping might be best to just use EVGA's warranty

  • Great deal! was going to build in 2019 and couldn't resist.

    Nawww

Managed to get SD Card just not the PSU and Cooler.

    • +1

Oh! One use per customer didn't read hard enough

  • Hey, how come you aren't going to the newegg au site ? It's $92.40 there ? Just asking :)Ahh I see still pay postage etc my bad.

  • Solid price. Can Only imagine without shipping.

Bought one of the techfast PC's. Replace the PSU with this?

    • +2

typical rig pulls 200-350W depending on components

so i would say you're fine, at the same time this a really good PSU for a good price - bit overkill tho

    • +1

Depends what is in your Techfast. Brand name PSU with good reviews, 450W or more? I wouldn't bother. No-name PSU of unknown quality? I'd definitely replace it with this EVGA model. Overkill? Yes, but the increase in quality and reliability is worth it. Power supplies can take out other components when they fail, and cheap capacitors and MOSFETs tend to die after a few years.

      • How would you know this PSU would fit?

        • +1

It's a standard ATX PSU. Width, height, screw locations, cable connectors etc are all standardised and will fit. The only thing that varies between models is length, and this is generally only a problem when you try and fit a very long PSU in a very small case.

This PSU is 150mm in length which is on the smaller size and unlikely to cause problems. You can always check the specs of your case or measure the existing PSU if you want to be certain.

  • +1

    $80 cheaper than here

  • Do I just buy this because it's cheap or am I supposed to research why this is the best PSU for my PC? Too lazy for that right now.

    • +1

      Buy it

  • Damn. Bought a 650W of the same model for more money a few months ago.
Great price and good PSU, if you're planning any future builds this is a safe bet.

    • Same same - paid about $20aud more too - This is a GREAT deal.

  • Nice.

  • +1

Just wanted to comment to say I've had one of these for a couple of years and would recommend - great reviews, very quiet and very nice cables too compared to some of the other brands.

  • +1

Bought 750 G2 a year ago. Very good PSU indeed.

  • Out of stock. So sad I missed this.

  • From another seller 143 AUD all up, thoughts if still worth?

    • $169 from umart or go for 850W.

      • +2

        Good shout, 850W is $123 shipped :)

  • Found the 750 G2 that's AUD$107.80. Should I get a 750 G2 or 850 G3? Given that I need only half the wattages.

    • For like $15 more you might aswell go the 850 tbh, possible future proof yada yada

  • +1

Out of stock. I'm late, shame

  • This is odd. The 850 is cheaper than the 750… anything I am missing?

  • Purchased the 850W for a new build. 10 Year warranty you cant go wrong…

  • Just in case, does it include cables to be connected to m/b, vga .. ?

    • Yes (assuming you mean graphic card by saying vga.)

  • this would come with an AU power cable right?

  • Back in stock! I just grabbed one

    • How much did you pay? It's not in stock now, at least not at the deal price.

Maybe I got lucky and someone had cancelled their order

        • Nice. I'd say you got pretty lucky with that.

  • Bought G2 750w about a year ago for ~$150. I would this was a good price.

  • +1

G3 850w is available for $122 delivered. Is it a bad deal?
    https://www.newegg.com/global/au-en/Product/Product.aspx?Ite…

Not sure if I will end up in 2080 or Vega 64 and 750W is OOS.

    • +1

      I think it's a good deal. Staticice has the 850W G2 at $200+ locally.

  • +1

Sweet timing! My PC just started exhibiting what I think is a PSU issue a couple of days back. Bought the 850W model. Thanks OP!

    • +1

Yea, bought the same. Though almost $20 extra :)

  • Reviews for the 850w say its loud when not in eco mode.

    • Saw that review too, hopefully EVGA sent them a replacement.
Other reviews says its quiet. 12 year warranty…
I purchased with AMEX Essentials too for additional 90 day return =]
      Hoping it's not noisy!

  • Is anyone elses order stuck on "packaging"? (purchase made on saturday).

    • Yeah, same.

    • Ordered mine on the 25th now it's been 'shipped' and at the Newegg shipping centre.

    • Ordered mine on the 24th(Saturday) and it still has not been shipped.

"Packaging - Your payment has been successfully processed and has passed Order Verification. Products are being collected in the warehouse and boxed for shipment or pick up."

      • Yep, mine still saying the same thing. Not shipped yet.

        • Did you guys pay the extra 2 dollars or watever it was for faster shipping? I did, maybe that is the cause of the delay? Since Circly ordered his on the 25th(Sunday) and his has been shipped already.

          • @shano: Nope, just the basics.

          • @shano: I paid the extra $2 for the world eggsaver express. - still on packaging today.

            • +1

@userloser: Update. Mine wasn't actually shipped

"Thank you for shopping on Newegg.com. The order you recently placed has experienced a processing delay. Please expect your order to be processed and shipped out by Tuesday, December 4th. We sincerely apologize for this delay."

              • @Circly: Damn this sucks. Hope they dont cancel our orders.

                • @shano: Looks like my order has been updated with a tracking number now.

                  • @shano: Yep mine now finally shipped.

                    • @Abbi: Yeah same, I've got a tracking ID and its being shipped out on tuesday with FEDEX.

                      • @userloser: Mine set for delivery next tuesday 11th Dec.

  • Received mine today. Installed it (after a few issues) and i'm up and running!

    • Nice! mine came last Thursday. Seems to be running great.

  • Mine came yesterday but no one home :(

    Hopefully redeliver today.
