A follow-up to the 2001 award-winning show "The Blue Planet," this natural history series sees Sir David Attenborough return as narrator and host. A breathtaking exploration of the world's vast oceans, hourlong episodes capture animals and other living organisms in their natural habitat, presenting viewers with a fascinating insight into what life is like underwater. From tropical seas to the harsh conditions of the Arctic, the makers of "Blue Planet II" use modern filming equipment and techniques to shine a light on areas of the planet that humans have never seen before.
First episode date: 29 October 2017
Final episode date: 1 January 2018
Composer(s): Hans Zimmer; David Fleming; Jacob Shea
Network: BBC One
Cast: David Attenborough

If you're in store the version in the blue plastic cover scans at $12.50. The one in the cardboard cover still scans at $25. My local store shows as no stock online, but in actuality there were quite a few on the shelf. Just show staff the link if need be.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2018

  • Any idea why this won't work on a ps3?
Every time we try to play it the ps3 shuts down. We have only been able to watch 1 episode once. Everything else works fine

Are you somehow trying to play the 4k Planet Earth 2?

      • Only came outside to watch the nightfall with the rain

      • Definitely not. Just checked again. 1080p.

…but the one I have is Planet Earth 2, not Blue Planet 2

  • Got it for free from our local library…

    • Borrowed it for free…

Yes, can re-borrow it anytime, indefinitely…

Best of all, it gets replaced for Free when it gets too scratched !!! So even better than owning.

    • What's your point?

      • Works out cheaper

    • You stole from the library? $12.50 seems like a fair price to allow those resources to stay with the local community.
