Best price I've ever seen for this. 10% off with Cashrewards brings to like $45..! I would get murdered still at this price if I replaced downlights with these but you may be game to try!

  Also the LIFX GU10 is scheduled for 5.30pm today incase want to see how that one goes. I have had issues with LIFX's bulbs, but they do have advantage of being WiFi not dependent on controller.

    Zigbee is low power - battery operated switches and motion sensors - and forms a mesh network. Those are two advantages over wifi.

    I hate my LIFX bulbs, the Hue are solid but dang pricey for what they are.

      I have 2x LIFX bought for lamps. One of them no matter what I do, updates, contacting them and getting supposed "beta firmware" etc.. Just randomly turns itself on. I just have to keep the lamp off now which defeats the whole purpose.

      I do think the LIFX (I am using the white ambiance type) look much nicer than the Philips specially with the warmer white settings. Just let down by something like this, like not rocket science guys just make the light not turn on randomly. You look up about this and a very common issue so not just me obviously some bug.

      Go to officeworks and get them to price match. I needed 4 but my local only had one, so I bought 3 from Amazon and one from Officeworks 5% cheaper.
