Anyone who missed out on the slightly cheaper WD Elements 8TB posted here can still get a good deal with this WD My Book 8TB.

Should have a white label Red NAS drive inside.

Anyone know if the adapter will work in Australia? I know some hdd comes with the interchangeable plugs.

  I've always purchased an Aussie cable when buying WD drives on Amazon. Usually at Jaycar for convenience.

FYI - Comments from Reddit mention that some of these drives have the 3.3v reset pin that needs fixing.
