Scoopon refund never got response

I got two vouchers from Scoopoon for a meal and later decided that I couldn't make it and wanted to get the refund from Scoopoon. The first time Scoopoon replied in no time, asking some more information. I replied and then they never replied. I then replied again to follow up but from then on they never bothered response. I cannot believe their customer service is as bad as the discount deals they offer. It is certainly not the way to build up reputation. I will never do any business with Scoopoon and I warn those who thinks about it.

  • Sorry about your experience xji…..I was in a similar situation except for the restaurant had closed down at Sanctuary Cove. Scoopon did end up getting back and refunding the money. Dont give up keep on to them and hopefully they may pick up this unhappy post. Good luck!!

  • Ok first of all scoopon doesn't do refunds simply cos you have changed your mind. That's where some of their profits come from. People who never take advantage of what they buy. You might wanna try and sell it here to see if you can get rid of it.

    Secondly i scream and scream and say out loud "POWER OF THE CC CHARGEBACK IS THE WORD". In your case it's not but in cases where scoopon or the supplier doesn't uphold their side of the bargain.

  • As mentioned above, I don't think they do refunds for change of mind purchases.

    But that does not excuse them for ignoring you, which they happen to be quite good at judging from previous posts.

  • to be honest, they're under no legal obligation to refund "change of mind" purchases.

    @rack, some banks won't do CC charge-back on purchases you made. Stolen cards/fraud are a different story.

  • They should at least reply to you, but I wouldn't be expecting a refund. If you buy a gift card from myer, then later on change you're mind, they are not going to exchange it for cash.

    Their deals can't be that bad since you bought it.

  • Yeah agree with all you guys… Tell me any shop that gives you are full refund for changing your mind?! There deals are actually quite good imo…

    The cleaning one a couple of weeks ago, $59 for a full house clean not once but TWICE! That is pretty good! Did anyone purchase that deal as I would be interested in knowing if it was any good??

  • I don't think you are due a refund for change of mind. Not at all.

    Yes, scoopon has absolute crap customer service, BUT look at what they have to deal with.

    Flog it on ebay.
