Here's the cheapest AMD-powered Lenovo V330, currently on Cyber Monday sale for $699 delivered.

• AMD Ryzen 3 2200U (2C/4T)
• 14" FHD
• 8GB RAM
• 256GB M.2 SSD

Ryzen 3 2200U is a 2-core/4-thread CPU at 15W TDP with around 4628 CPU Mark — slow, but should be adequite for most office use.

Also not that on the Tech Specs page it has 2x USB 3.0 + 1x USB 2.0 in Ultra-bay (some kind of expansion system that can host a 2nd battery). However in the spec sheet PDF it also has 1x USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2 port. 2-cell 39Wh battery has "maximum battery life" of 6.5 hours, but probably expect ~4 hours.

  Now the question is how this compares with the near identical spec thinkpad model i.E E485

    2200G is 4 core 4 thread. 2200U is 2c/4t. Obviously Ryzen 3 2200U would be slower than Ryzen 5 in E485, but also cheaper.

    i think you are confusing the U series with the APU G series. This is dual core with 4 thread with vega 3 graphics

  I am Sorry, I was actually thinking 2500U thats in the E485..

  Which incidently now makes me question whether the E485 is a better option for an extra 50 bucks
